I have an extreme irrational fear of dentist, so I never schedule precautionary care. I found out I had a cavity, and on New Years the tooth cracked. I was in agony! After waiting 6 hrs on Sun. at Charlotte Emergency Dental, they were unable to help me. I called first thing Mon. morning to Avason, and they got me in within an hour. Dr. Avason and his staff are amazing, and did a great job keeping me relaxed. He got the tooth out in mins. Even it being the next day, there is very little discomfort. Thank yall so much!!! I highly recommend anyone to go there!!

They also do everything there from anesthesia to surgery and regularly dental services! Great place and even better people! Highly recommended! I am no stranger to a dentist's chair and have had extensive work done throughout the years. That being said, I only wish I had found Dr. Avason a long time ago ! He is an awesome dentist in every respect - he does beautiful work and is never too busy to explain his answers to any questions you may have. Every single person that I've had the pleasure of meeting in their office has been very courteous and professional. Don't get me wrong - I hate having dental work done !! BUT - if it's got to be done, I can say with complete honesty, there is NO one I'd rather have do it than Dr. Avason - he's simply the best !

It had been 10 + years since being in a dentist chair. Not being very comfortable with dentist is an understatement. When Leslie came in and was aware of my uncertainty of a dentist she was very concerned about my comfort and stopped the cleaning process several times to make sure i was ok. I cannot speak highly enough of Leslie and the job she did on my teeth. Will update as my visits get more involved in my needed treatments.

These guys were wonderful. I had to have a tooth pulled and they were quick, professional and it was pain free. The doctor even called me personally to see how I was that evening and made sure I had his personal cell number encase I had a problem. I would highly recommend Avason Family Dentistry to anyone and I will return for other needs without a doubt. :)
