We’ve had nothing but great experiences at SDA Pediatrics. My kids especially like their hygienist Amy (super friendly!) and I love that all procedures are explained so we know what’s happening and why. It’s also a comfort to know that my kid’s medical needs are also taken into consideration. The text reminders are also super helpful for this busy mom!

Had an appointment to be advised on the needed work on some dental issues. X-rays were taken and the dentist gave me my options and possible cost. I had a cap that was put on by another dentist in a neighboring county. The cap was getting loose so the dentist at Southern Dental took the cap off and glued it back in place. Within 12 hours the cap fell off. I called Southern Dental and asked if they would glue it back on in order to cover up the rather large hole in my molar. They denied my request and left it at that. I know this is a temporary fix at best, but until I can save up the money to have all the work performed… I am stuck with a large hole in my mouth that is affected by cold air and liquids. I didn’t have this when I walked in the office. Very dissatisfied with this type of treatment. I will take my hard earned money elsewhere and hope they will treat me better.

I've been going to this office for a few years now and the team is always friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I would recommend them to friends and family if they asked. The team is also god at scheduling and billing based on my work and insurance requirements respectively. No complaints so far.

My husband is a patient and called on Dec. 20 to get an emergency appointment for a broken tooth that was extremely painful and possibly getting infected. The girl that answered the phone was very rude and more concerned about a $38.00 balance (that we thought insurance had already paid)than the fact my husband was in need. Then she proceeds to tell him that they can't get him in till Jan 3!!! I don't even want to think how bad he could be 14 days later. So I found an office in Statesville that got him in the next day. Needless to say we will not be returning as patients and they need to train their office staff about true emergencies versus routine appointments. I understand it's the holidays, buy you don't neglect your patients.
