Val Verde Family Dentistry

I usually wait until I start having services done however decided to go ahead and give a review, 2 years ago moved to Altus Oklahoma from Florida and I had an issue with a tooth. It needed to come out. I have 2 very bad chronic disorders Takayasu (Which is a rare vascular disease - not many doctors know enough about it, as dentists. I went 16 years being referred to dentist, specialists to be turned away from ALL of them cause they didn't feel comfortable cause my chronic issues which my heart had taken a blow due to the vascular disease and this year I was diagnosed with Lupus, which makes me more of a complicated case. Dr. Henry was originally the dentist that pulled the tooth and agreed he'd do the work that was needed to be done, he was the 1st dentists in the 16 years that felt comfortable to do it. At that time his daughter was working there, she was still in school and she was the one that saw me recently and did an exam, x-rays and prescribed toothpaste and a mouthwash to start. Next month, she starts the work. I was treated incredibly well and agreed that I could have the work done in sessions monthly until it's done, due to financial issues of being disabled. I was treated as if they did care about my wellbeing and my health and my teeth does impact my health significantly. She was even going the extra step of contacting my physicians to discuss treatment plans we discussed to make sure things were okay to proceed further. I'm so excited, I'll be able to smile again and not feel so insecure over my teeth. The Dr. Henry and his daughter and the staff are absolutely amazing! I'm definitely staying with them. It was even amazing Dr. Henry made sure I was comfortable while doing the extraction, I've had complications with other extractions ive had except the one Dr. Henry did and I healed pretty quickly. I recommend Dr. Henry/his daughter and the staff! They are all incredible people and do care.

Amazingly friendly and warm front desk staff, and such great care! I had a veneer pop off and was in a ton of pain. This group got me in same day as a new patient and immediately found a solution that not only stopped the pain but gave me a better looking tooth than I had before. I went in feeling very distressed and left feeling extremely relieved and confident. I couldn’t recommend this dentistry enough. Thank you, Val Verde.

As a direct result of the unsatisfactory services I received from Dr. Henry, I refused Dr. Henry's offer to 'fix' the problem and paid another orthodontist to solve the problem. I filed a complaint with the Oklahoma State Board of Dentistry, which is being investigated.

Wife went yesterday and said if I could give you guys 10 stars. She is hard to please when it comes to these things, but you guys have done it. Thank you.

Val Verde is amazing!! Being a new military family transplanted in Altus is hard,but add in that our daughter chipped her tooth over the weekend; that made our anxiety levels go up. Step in Val Verde dentistry. Due to the awesome service/diligence of Molly we were able to sneak into a canceled appointment same day. Dr Henry did an amazing job explaining and fixing the chipped tooth as if nothing had ever happened. Thanks to you all our little lady has a big smile again. Thank you all so much!!
