Custom Dental of Newcastle

Staff is friendly, but dentist is completely lacking empathy and bedside manner. I had a tooth pulled, experienced extreme pain, and large quantities of blood loss a couple of days after the extraction. They do not have an emergency line on the weekends, found this out after calling and leaving a message, so I suffered all weekend with no follow-up call. I called them Monday morning to make an appointment, the staff worked me in for 1pm didn't get seen until 1:40. The dentists professionalism is completely absent and he will openingly mock and belittle patients. He has no desire to help a patient through a dental procedure.

I have been going to Dr. Jones for about 10 years and I love them! They are super friendly, call you by name and care about your teeth. I trust Dr. Jones' advise for my teeth. Oh, and they are also very gentle when working on you. I've never been hurt. I highly recommend Dr. Jones of Custom Dental!

My son and I had great first appointments with Custom Dental today! The staff is extremely nice and caring, and it was easy to get appointments. Dr. Jones seems very trustworthy, he took his time to really explain my issues and options, and seemed rather conservative in his approach, which I appreciate after having a horrible experience with another dentist who tried to push tons of unnecessary procedures on me. Happy to have found our new family dentist!

Very friendly staff but not a good experience with the doctor. He did a filling and wisdom teeth pull on our 16yo daughter. They didn't put her to sleep for the extraction and only gave her ibuprofen for the pain after. During the filling she was trying to say something after he finished the doctor sat her up and told her she didn't have to try so hard to get everyone's attention; they are all focused on her already and that she only needed to raise her arm if she was feeling pain. He has no idea the life experiences my daughter has already experienced at 16, let alone she's on anxiety and antidepressants meds. A little understanding and compassion goes a long way. We won't be back and can't recommend.
Reminds me of an experience my older daughter had with a different dentist that dislocated her jaw while having some work done and when she tried to say something he told her he would have to start over if he stopped now so she let him finish, she has to be put to sleep now when she goes to the dentist because her anxiety. I would've told him to get his hands off me and I'd be going someplace else. And that's what we will be doing in this situation.

My 12 year old daughter has been with Custom Dental for years, we absolutely love them!

The front office is quick and professional, the wait times are never an issue. Dr. Jones always has a smile and makes it a comfortable fun experience for everyone!

I first tried these guys out a month or so ago and I thought they were great. Dr. Brandon and the rest of the staff were very nice and they genuinely seem to care about thier patients comfort when it comes to dentistry. Plus they were just pleasant to talk to in general.

I plan on continuing to use them for my dental work for the foreseeable future.

Hands down the best dentist office ive ever been to! I went in today to have a tooth pulled and couldn't of had a better experience. Every member of the staff was kind and made me feel at home. Very clean and welcoming environment. Dr. Jones and his assistant were awesome. They took the time to explain all my options and when it came down to taking the tooth out they made sure i was as comfortable as i could be in that situation lol. Will definitely be the whole families new dentist.

The 10+ years that our family has been seen here, the customer service has always been impeccable at Custom Dental. You’re welcomed into the office with a warm greeting and taken care of as if you were family for the duration of your stay. As a serviceman, this team of professionals ensured my husband was in top notch condition prior to a lengthy military deployment. Additionally, their caring nature carried over when I was hospitalized. As long as I am in the Tri-City area, I can’t see myself and family not utilizing this awesome team. Dr. Jones and his staff are superior in my book! 👍💯

If you are looking for a new dentist, do yourself a favor and check out Dr. Brandon Jones and his excellent staff. I’ve had extensive work done and I do not regret taking this journey with them. The support from the whole crew was the only thing that got me through. Love them ALL‼️

The staff is very friendly, caring, and supportive. The atmosphere is filled with Christian music and the dentist Bradon Jones is very happy. You will often find him singing when he comes to greet you. I love the positive vibes I get when coming here. It makes going to the dentist not seem so scary after all but a more relaxed comfortable feeling....almost like family.
