Dental Depot

This Dental Depot location is great. I've been a patient here now for about 6 months I haven't had a bad experience . The front desk receptionist are always friendly and smiling, laughing. My dentist Dr Omar is awesome.
When I had to get my dentures he was very fast and was great. The dental assistants are very helpful and good . I always get Gary , he's great . Twice I've had to call to get in for an emergency appointment. One was to extract a infected tooth. I called they got me in that same day. Just this morning I woke up and my new top Denture wasn't fitting so it being Saturday Labor Day weekend I called and they got me in right away. I had a lady named Darlene who helped me get my top Denture taken care of. Darlene was great. You could tell she definitely cares about her patients. She took time to see that I left satisfied. Darlene was definitely my labor day weekend lifesaver.

Took my 3 year old for her second ever appointment this week. The Dental Assistant walked her through every step and showed her how things worked and just genuinely took her time to make sure my kiddo wasn’t scared. Not too sure how I feel about the dentists being in there for about 5 minutes just to double check work but her teeth are clean and she had a great experience.

I had to wait over an hour past my appointment. After going up to the receptionist twice, first I was told she could reschedule me if I needed to leave. Then another receptionist looked at my info on the screen and told the first receptionist to go back and check it out. She did go back and was able to bring me back then.
The dentist was great!
But then as I was leaving, I was told to check with front to get the status of an approval from my insurance for a procedure. The receptionist told me I was denied and I should call my insurance myself to see why. ( I thought that was their job. I could be wrong).

Dental depot is overly booked and busy. My dentist personality was a 10 but his services were terrible. I got just a filling and it still hurts, that was a good month or so that I got it done. Also, I expressed to him that I wanted all my Cavities filled and he stated they were old metal fillings and were fine even though they are clearly visible in my mouth and giving me pain. My main reason for going is that they are open on Saturdays, will not be returning.

Love the professional team at Dental Depot (23rd street location) and would highly recommend. The team takes such great care of me and my family. They are kind, welcoming, and always put the patient’s needs first!

The dentist and staff were amazing and kind. I was in and out in no time. In my opinion they are one of the best choices for dental services. I've been to a lot of dentists in my 50 years, and Dental Depot is my choice.

They did amazing job from very beginning with me calling to make appt. They got me in a hour after I called. When got there they called me back before I even got my paperwork completed. Everybody was extremely nice and helpful. I ended up having to get a tooth pulled. I was there maybe 1 hour tops for appt. They were really great dentist.

Over all the experience was okay. However I think that Dr. Omar was very judgemental and did not want to listen. My daughter was tired after she had the x rays of her teeth and with her disability she does not have much patience.
They wanted to pull a tooth but she had enough. The assistants and I spoke and we both agreed that if we set her up another appointment that she would be fine. She just had had enough that day. We even discussed medication to help put her at ease.
Dr Omar did not even want to mess with her. I honestly think it was because he knew it would be allot of work and he did want to to do it. He did say we could come.back after her teeth were fixed for her regular maintenance. He told me where to go and I advised that we could not get in until next year and he said it not that far away.
Yes she never had any major work before and I get it but there was no reason for out visit to go this way!

I was considering going there myself after how highly Nancy spoke of the Dentist but after this visit. We will not be back. He clearly has no patience or understanding for special needs kids. With all the questions he asked I am guessing that he did not read her chart and the notes that were put in there about her disability.

I do not recommend Dr. OMAR! I will not be back because of him.

Zero stars!!! I needed an immediate, emergent procedure and the estimate was quite costly. I agreed to pay all at once and was told through out the six week period while awaiting my bridge to arrive that I was "Paid in Full" by Whitney and Sara. I did not get the color I chose and no one could tell me why? The bridge looks ridiculous in my mouth. I cannot put my front teeth together, there is a U shape to it. I had my annual cleaning several months later and was still "Paid in Full". I received a bill 6 MONTHS LATER for almost $600 more dollars!!!!! I called and was told there would be an audit and someone would get back to me. No one did so I assumed it was taken care of and removed. NOPE! Another month later the bill was reduced by $82 and they still want $500 dollars from me. I called again, only to be told the office manager that there was an error so they took it off but the rest was up to me, insurance did not pay. I called my insurance myself and found out that Dental Depot told me that my max benefit was $2000 and truly it was on $1500. The document that I signed in the office on day one says that if insurance denies anything, I am responsible. Well, to me insurance did NOT deny anything and their office got their math wrong. They had plenty of time to realize this error. I do not think it is good business to tell a patient over and over that they are "Paid in Full" unless they truly are. I took out a loan for the services and regardless, they should have followed the "Good Faith Estimate" rule. The timeframe is completely ridiculous for you to have waited so long to discover an error like that without so much as a phone call nor explanation. I am the one who figured out the error and I have called Corporate so many times and every month just keep getting a bill, now about to go to collections...thanks Savannah, Ashley, Whitney and all others who do not follow through on their customer service!!! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! They will financially rob you!

Everyone at the Dental Depot on 23rd has been SO nice and beyond exceptional!! I appreciate them so much and will always go there. Dr. William's is the best dentist and his staff are the Best you will find. I can't thank them enough.
