Last year I was in OKC waiting to begin an oil well up in Kansas. I began to have serious pain in my lower right jaw. My previously root canalled tooth had started to act up. I called Dr. Rykard's office and he agreed to get me in even though he had a tremendously packed schedule. He X-Rayed the tooth and determined that the previous root canal had not gone quite deep enough to eradicate the entire nerve and it had become infected. He checked with a specialist in root canals but they were booked a week and a half ahead and I was due to go to Kansas the next day. He went ahead and did the root canal himself, refilled the tooth, prescribed antibiotics for the infection and a year later I am still doing fine. If I get back to OKC again I will certainly see him.
