**** FIRST TIME AT THIS DENTAL OFFICE, DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I received a teeth cleaning approximately three weeks ago and was told that my insurance would cover a teeth cleaning. I asked multiple times to ensure this was the case and every time I was told, yes. Before I went back to have my teeth cleaning I asked the receptionist AGAIN, just to be on the safe side. GRANTED by this point they already made copies of my insurance card, inputting whatever they had to into the computer and yet again I was told that I had nothing to worry about. Unfortunately today I received a TEXT MESSAGE asking if I had any other insurance, unsure of why I called the office and was told that I owe them $202.00 due to my insurance being out of network. The receptionist told me verbatim “I have a hard time believing that not one of us three girls brought up you not being in network” As is I’m a liar and made all of this up. Which makes no sense because they took copies of my insurance card and input information before I went to the back to receive my cleaning. I’m upset due to asking the office multiple times and always being told that my insurance would cover this, that I had no copay and that I receive one free cleaning a year. The staff was unhelpful and all they wanted to do was explain to me how dental insurance works. If you want to “know” how insurance works please contact KIM.

I have using this dental practice for a little over 3 years. The dental hygienist have all been really great and super friendly. I haven't needed Dr. Pilgrim's services yet , hence the 4 out of 5 rating, but what I have seen, he seems very straight forward. Office staff was superb as well.
