I have been a patient of Dr Gene McCormicks now for over a decade and could not be happier with my experience. I recently had a routine cleaning at another office and the experience was night and day, I immediately scheduled my next appointment back with Dr Gene. He and his team are patient focused and exceptionally thorough. If you are looking for a personal atmosphere with your dentist where comfort is paramount then this is the place!

I started going to Dr McCormick in November of 2018. I found out I had gum disease. He and his staff educated me about the affects the bacteria in my mouth has on my health. With the information they gave me and the different options, I chose the option Dr McCormick thought was the best. Dr McCormick did a surgical procedure called LANAP. It was completely painless! Within a couple of days I realized I was no longer waking each morning nauseous and my chronic back pain was gone! It is a journey and thanks to Dr McCormick and his staff, I am feeling very confident that it will only get better!

Dr McCormick and his staff have been instrumental to my success in overcoming a difficult, complicated dental journey. Before I went to Dr. McCormick I had terrible anxiety from past experiences but his gentle and expert care has erased my dental unease. In addition to taking care of my teeth, he was knowledgeable enough to know that I needed to be tested for an autoimmune disease which ended up being the root cause of my dental issues. My rheumatologist didn’t even think to test me for it!! They also go out of their way to accommodate my hectic and ever changing work schedule. I will stay with Dr. McCormick until he retires!!

Everyone has been so professional and kind. Would definitely recommend.

This dentist office has been a horrible experience from start to finish. I stated in the very beginning the sole reason I came to visit this dentist was to remove my permanent retainer and was assured three times that, that would be taken care of. At my final visit Dr. McCormick told me he was all done and still did not remove it. After letting him know that the permanent retainer still needed to come off his response was, "I don't see anything about this in my notes". The office is small but the communication clearly is lacking. Wendy insisted that I owed $995 MORE than my actual bill and after finally breaking down the charges to her she sent it off for further review which comes back with an amount WAY less than she told me I owed. I don't think it would have been mentioned if I would not have checked my bill. Dr. McCormick also created an indentation in my tooth which he claims was a filling that fell out after removing my permanent retainer. Even if so, what kind of dentist knocks a filling out and doesn't say anything. Do yourself a favor, avoid this dentist and find another as both myself and my family are doing!

UPDATED REVIEW as of 01/19/2020:
Dr. McCormick called me personally regarding this issue on Sunday. Although no part of my review was incorrect and I have supporting documentation for each part, McCormick insisted that he has never had a bad review in 50 years of business. He was very snarky, rude, and unprofessional during the call. I said I understood and that I wasn't arguing about the situation and that I have found another dentist and was not worried about it. He said that I could either remove the review or he would be contacting an attorney. This should show you EXACTLY who this man is, his customer service, and how he runs his business. The reasons you are not able to find bad reviews is because he contacts people directly and threatens to sue unless they remove their review. As I stated before, AVOID THIS DENTIST!

Gene McCormick is the best dentist I've ever been to. He takes pride in his work. Love everyone at his office, they make you feel at home. He is a 10 in my books.

For the very first time in my life, and I am 62 years old, I entered a dental office and left without fear or pain. I found out this morning that I have a disc issue in both of my jaws which has caused my mouth not to be able to be opened very far. My jaws lock after a certain point.
All of my life, dentists have been trying to get my mouth to open further. Caring dentists have tried instruments made for children, and nitrious oxcide . Even so, I was always in pain, even for teeth cleanings because I had to hold my jaws open in a painful position. This caused severe anxiety for me.
Dr McCormick diagnosed this disorder with a panoramic CT scan that circles around your head. At first he tried Propofol and then he came out to the waiting room to tell my husband that they could not get my mouth open enough, even for 3 D x-rays and he would need to put me under general anesthesia, which is exactly what I needed. Dr. McCormick has done a residency in general anesthesia and he knows what he's doing.
I needed this kind of sedation to have some dental work done, including a crown done on the very last tooth in my mouth, number 30.
Under General Anesthesia they are able to work with the muscles around the jaw to get it open without you being in pain.
This office is unbelievable. The people are unbelievable! Their entire focus is upon your comfort and your safety. Dr McCormick begin at 3 in the morning looking over my medical records to make sure I would be safe. I cannot recommend this dental office highly enough. This was almost like a spa experience. I'm not nervous about getting dental work done, now that I know why it's been so painful before. Dr. McCormick told me there had only been one other patient he has had with a smaller mouth opening. I feel vindicated. And I will be happy to go back for the rest of the dental work that I need done.
Many thanks to Patty, Wendy and Megan for their personal attention to me.
If you are anxious, have a small mouth, or just dread going to the dentist, go to Dr. McCormick. You'll be glad you did.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the results of recent gum rejuvenation surgery at my dentist, Gene McCormick. The entire staff is focused on patient comfort and satisfaction...and the post surgery vanilla shake was a nice bonus.
