I had to get some dental work done before I go into the Peace Corps and was so glad that I chose West River Dental - this was literally the best dental experience I have ever had. I generally dread going to the dentist because I hate shots. I'm not sure what device Dr. Holly uses to numb the area he works on, but one moment I thought he was just doing whatever dentists do, looking at my teeth I guess, and the next my gums were numb! The instrument he uses does not look anything like a shot and it was literally painless. Greatest invention ever! I also got to see my porcelain crown being made, which was pretty neat. Dr. Holly and his dental assistant were very friendly, happy to answer questions (I ask a lot), and made me feel comfortable. Also, Dr. Holly went out of his way to personally type up a statement I needed for the Peace Corps. I would recommend Dr. Holly over and over again and am happy to find a dental office I look forward to visiting. 11/10.

Dr. Holly and his staff at West River Dental are simply the best. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with friendly staff and feel a sense of ease. Everything is explained thoroughly and you can expect that Dr. Holly will give you his honest opinion. It’s very obvious that Dr. Holly takes pride in his work and you can feel confident that you are getting the best quality care. His office is up to date with technology — they offer the “wand” which makes the numbing process a breeze and CERCE machine which has allowed me to get a crown in one visit. I’m confident in Dr. Holly’s work and will continue to recommend him.

When I was a fairly new patient, I needed an emergency extraction on a Thursday before a weekend vacation and Dr. Holly went above and beyond to get me in that day and get it taken care of. This young doctor is easily the gentlest, most knowledgeable, and easiest to relate-to Dentist i have ever used! His facilities are state of the art, his equipment is ONLY the newest and best available, and considering the very complicated nature of the work i needed done, he showed impressive skill where multiple other local dentists have failed (or even made things worse). His staff is friendly and prompt, and his rates are as competitive as i could find in this professional saturated city of Bend we live in. I will send my children to him, and i would recommend his practice to anyone who wants a dental experience to be as pleasant and pain free as possible. I can't say enough good things about this practice. Dr. Holly is among the finest and most currently trained practitioners anywhere...and like i said, his equipment is absolutely top of the line. He made me a real crown the same day i had a root canal!! Thanks for making such a horrible experience so painless and friendly!

Dr. Holly and his staff are great. Also, today was the first time I had an anesthetic dental wand used, as opposed to a manual injection. It was truly painless and the anesthetic worked better than the last few times I had dental work and was given anesthetic with a traditional needle and syringe. Today was also the first time I had a crown made (actually two crowns today) and placed all in one visit (less than three hours). The newer computer aided design and crown building technology saves a lot time and the crowns are of great quality.
