Dr. Bennett made my first time experience at Laurelhurst Dentistry great. She did a thorough examination and came up with a treatment plan. I had a great first time experience at Laurelhurst Dentistry. Everyone listened to all of my concerns, and came up with a treatment plan that would work. The doctor was very friendly, knowledgeable and non-judgmental (I saw Dr. Hawkins). The woman who took my X-RAY, was also great, good conversationalist, and made sure I was as comfortable as one could be for a mouth X-RAY. The Hygienist was thorough, the friendliest person, and explained exactly what she was doing the entire time. Everyone at the front desk was great, friendly as ever, and willing to help me figure out my insurance, waiting periods, etc. I have never had such a great experience at the dentist.

I was called back to see the hygienist called me back at the exact time of my appointment, so I did not have a long wait time and was finished and out to my car before the hour parking in the spot had passed. The hygienist was efficient and thorough, and scraped, polished, and flossed my teeth in a timely manner, even behind my lower front teeth which tend to have a plaque buildup. I felt no pain, and her prodding with a sharp ended tool didn't cause any bleeding of the gums either. She was not talkative, but
since as a patient you can't really respond, that was fine with me.

I've been going to Laurelhurst Dentistry for about 7 years and have been very happy with their care. I had a chipped lower front tooth that looked awful and they were able to fix it seamlessly with composite material. It has held up nicely for all these years. All of the hygienists are gentle and thorough and friendly and the equipment is modern state-of-the-art. I find my portion of payment after insurance to be very fair and they have early appointments so that I can go in for cleaning and not miss work!

Miriam, his hygienist, was so thoughtful about speaking up and supporting her verbal communication with visuals and motions. He understood her so well and had a very positive experience! I've been coming to Laurelhurst dentistry since 2017 and they've done a great job for me throughout that time. Dr. Bennett is a skilled and experienced dentist whose work I trust completely. Most recently, they redid a filling another dentist in the practice did at no charge when food accumulated in the gap between the teeth. I appreciated that they stood by their work. The front office is well-run and the hygienists have always been wonderful as well.

I have been coming to Laurelhurst Dentistry for twenty years and I have always found it to be a calm and caring environment. Dr. Bennett has done a few spots of dental repair for me over those years (thankfully, not too many!) and when a trouble spot comes up, she explains the options thoroughly. And in a case where there was a "maybe" problem spot, she was totally willing to hold off and just keep an eye on it, rather than rush to drill it. Involving the patient in making the treatment plan like that has really helped to build trust.
