Sandy Family Dentistry

We recently moved from out of state and I was so nervous to leave my trusted dentist of 10 years! However, I had a great experience at Sandy Family Dentistry. The RDH, Dana, was SO knowledgeable and personable. The Dentist was awesome too. Lastly, my teeth feel amazingly clean. I'm really glad to have found them, what a relief.

I had a tooth that chipped off a large piece of filling on a Friday. Dr. Conklin is generally booked out several months but they got me in for an initial assessment the next Tuesday morning and called me when there was a cancellation later that day. It's not news that most healthcare offices are busy places. They worked to accommodate my crisis and I appreciate that so much. I have only been a patient of his for a year+ but I feel the team makes every effort to serve.

Dr. Conklin and the staff in general do an excellent job of taking good care of their patients! They are super friendly, and they know what they are doing. I love how they explain the plan and clearly communicate the options, steps along the way and are open to answering questions!

I spent a few years, not going to the dentist, because every time I did, I got scolded. Honestly, my teeth could be better, but they’re horrible. Since that previous dentist, I’ve developed quite a bit of anxiety. I then found Sandy family dental.

My first experience with the hygienist, as she was so sweet, so kind and very educational. We found out at my cleaning, that I needed a crown. I haven’t gotten dental work in years, and so I was very anxious about it. The front desk allowed me to take my time to schedule my appointment, there is no pushing to get the service done.

The day the crown came, I was pretty anxious, the dentist is very accommodating. He sat there and went through the whole process with me, ask if anything he could do to help. They gave me a warm blanket, which was nice. My dentist had an alternative numbing medicine. I let him know about my past panic attacks with the numbing medicine and he helped me through the hardest part of the process for me. I was getting my back molars done which is awful for the shots. He kept comforting me reminding me it’s my mouth and to stop him at anytime. He kept asking if I was okay how I was doing and offfered breaks. He was so gentle with the procedure as well, there wasn’t much pain because of it. I was surprised I got my crown in the same day, it made it a lot better for my work schedule and not having to come back.

If you are looking for a kind, empathetic dental office that will ease your anxiety please consider coming here. Personally I’ve searched so long for this and I’m very happy I have found the right dentist.

The hygienist was very patient with my 7 year old daughter. Our whole family has been to this office for the past 4 or 5 years and they are all friendly and knowledgeable. They truly care about your dental well being.

Great experience every time I have gone to Sandy Family Dentistry over the past 20 years. The entire team works so well together; from scheduling, annual check-ups, cleanings, procedures and billing. Great patient experience. They use updated technology but have old school relationships and service. You can't find a better dental care team anywhere.

For my first visit I was impressed with the thoroughness yet speediness of my exam. Dana made me feel comfortable and confident with her knowledge and chairside manner. Dr. Conklin, just as much. Pretty awesome office team in my estimation. I look forward to seeing improvements in my dentition.

I was treated in a very caring way. It was my 1st time being seen by the doctor and his staff. Everyone was friendly and weren’t impatient with questions asked. The office & rooms were pleasant and well-maintained.

This place is amazing!!! They make you feel so comfortable!! I don’t think I have ever laughed at a dentist office so much! You can definitely tell they care 10/10!!! Dana and Jen and all of the other staff have also been so helpful in making sure I get everything done that needs to be taken care of!

I found the staff to be friendly and professional. I was told that I needed a few things done, but wasn’t pressured to get them done right away. I hadn’t seen a dentist in two years and they were very understanding of that. I would highly recommend this office.
