I started going here when I broke a tooth and have stayed. They respond quickly to both emergencies and routine needs, explain well, and are transparent about options and costs. They indeed are a family practice in every sense of the word.

I've been to many dentist over the years but I've finally found the best one, Dr Umerich Is a true professional. He has done wonders for me. he is a magician in his profession. Now his son Michael has joined the practice, with what he's learned in school and learning from his father I'm sure he has a great future. I'm glad to have such a great dentist

I wish I could give them less than 1 star. My boyfriend went to have a tooth extracted and was not listened to when he said the amount of novocaine was not enough. They proceeded to start removing his tooth without informing him after rushing to have him sign a paper saying he can not sue them and excused him from the office once he started crying from pain as to "not scare other patients" (hes a grown man so youd think they'd take the fact he was crying a little more seriously.) He was kicked out with his tooth halfway out of his mouth and told to handle phone calls with an oral surgeon himself. How any dentist could go about an appointment the way they did is beyond me but we 100% will not be returning back.
Edit- should also add that he was not given any strong ibuprofen prescription before being kicked out which I was surprised about considering they ripped his tooth halfway out. He was in a large amount of pain before going there and they did nothing but make it worse. Every negative comment I've seen they've responded very defensive and saying the commenter is wrong but I am witness to what my boyfriend had to go through and it was very unprofessional and unacceptable. Please do not practice dentistry if you dont truly care about your patient's comfort and wellbeing.

I’ve been going to Dr. Umerich since I was a child. I’d never go anywhere else. Countless times has he gone above and beyond for me when I’ve had a chipped tooth or just aches and pains. He always takes my needs into consideration as far as my teeth go. I have a sensitive mouth and occasionally need extra numbing. He’s always willing to wait until I’m fully numb to start drilling and makes sure I’m happy with his work before I walk out the door. Great service as always

My family has been going here for 20+ years. I recommend them to anyone that needs a dentist. The Dr and the staff are efficient and courteous. Always make us feel welcome and informed.

Horrible experience, do not go to this dentist. Would give negative stars if I could. Went in literally to try and get a referall, as he doesn't pull teeth because I've been in agonizing pain due to what I believed was an abcess, or impacted wisdom tooth since this has been an issue in the past. He put in the xray, and although the swelling has gone down quite a bit, it's still a bit swollen and extremely tender. He put in the xray, and I couldn't fully bite down. I tried to explain this, and instead of trying to reposition the device, he took it out and told me that it wasn't swollen and because I wasn't cooperating I needed to leave, and find a different office to go to in an extremely rude manner. I have no insurance at this time, I was willing to pay 80$ just for a referall to fix this issue so that the pain would be gone. Way to go Dr. Michael Umerich, for having a patient leave your office crying, without you even doing any work.

Edit: It speaks volumes that this is the only comment you responded to, and while being defensive rather than asking if there's anything that could be done. Thankfully I record everything these days rather than argue. :) Have a blessed day.
Do not recommend whatsoever. I came in for an initial cleaning and during such, told the dentist assistance that I have pus and swelling above my tooth, as well as being in alot of pain in which they proceed to tell me "we don't pull teeth here". Well I came to grips with it, then the dentist tells me that he'll go ahead and do it, mind you they shcedule me 2 weeks away from that day to do a filling because that's what he wants to do first so I confusingly say ok...well I mention it again and they've even seen this and don't offer antibiotics or anything. So I come back in, and my next visit I apologise for not being there at exactly 12:30, in which I walk or uber due to not having a vehicle at the moment, and am basically talked down to for having state insurance and am basically insinuated that I'm a piece of garbage for having to spend my last ten bucks to Uber to an appointment in which I thought was important. And was told "well you have state insurance yet ubered here...doesn't make such sense, that's the problem" and for god knows what reason, everywhere around here looks down on you and treats you like trash if you're not paying CASH. While I'm getting said filling someone else calls them on the phone to make a payment but is a little short and they basically refuse to see them because of it as well and this is where I decided in the middle of it, that I'll just finish this session and find better business elsewhere. To top it off, I get a curtousy call a couple days prior to my next appointment (which is great...however) I have a late schedule and the call woke me up and i don't recognise the number and give it a call back in which I'm answered to just a plain "hello"....in which I reply "hi, I received a call from this number but am not sure who it is, or what it was for so I'm just calling back to check". Well, the response I get is"oh well I dunno who called you...." *Long pause*...ok well who am I speaking with"? They proceed to say "well who's this" so I get aggravated and hang up, later realizing this was them. This is NOT how a business should answer their phone, and whether YOU were the person who called or not (which it was, it was only minutes later) Any decent business will at least at that point say (if not already upon answering the ohone) "this is Dr so and sos office, how may I help you" not "um hello"...then say "well I dunno who called you, who is this" ??? It's ridiculous...do they even keep track of their records?
It's honestly absurd and they don't care about how you feel or even if your mouths gonna fall out of your face, they just care about making a one day job into 2 months of work to get multiple paydays from you and not even treat the root cause in which they even TOLD me that I had an abcess tooth and did NOTHING about it. Not even antibiotic's. Any other civilized place could do multiple fillings in the same area (small ones) on one visit as well...
To top it off while they were doing the filling they we're talking about other opls business (like over the phone) and about random stuff like baseball seemingly not paying much g attention at all to how I'm reacting or feeling to what's happening.
Not happy with it at all, and do not recommend. They don't care about how you feel or what you need as much as they should.
And the the response to a phone call which (should be tracked and never done from a personal phone)

I’m so happy with Dr. Umerich and his staff, I messed up on the time of my appointment and they got me in anyway. They treat you with respect and caring. They don’t make you feel like your on an assembly line, and they care about you personally. I recommend him and his staff with very high regards. Beth

It's hard to find a good dentist, it's even harder to find a good dentist who is nice guy. Michael Umerich is both. He genuinely cares about his patients.
