I got a molar tooth implant from them in 2019. At the time, they told me it was a lifetime warranty on the tooth. Fastforward to today, and the tooth they implanted in my mouth is lose. I go to them for a consultation to see what happened and what need to be done to fix it, and even after looking at the xray, he pulls it out of my mouth with NO pain relief, and says oops. I was very uncomfortable and in obvious pain as he was pulling at the tooth doing his "consultation", only for him to then say, after the tooth is already out, that they only have a 1 year warranty on implants. He said that it was most likely my bite had changed, but then in a phone call later said it was because the bone had started to deteriorate around the implant they had put in.
So not only did he lie to me about the warranty in 2019, or maybe it has changed since then, but he pulled out the implant without my authorization and without pain relief of any kind when I was in obvious pain, and in complete disregard of the xray he had just taken and looked at.
On another note, I had come to them in 2020 for a tooth that was giving me pain that was right next to the implant. They said it was rotten and falling apart, so they ground down the tooth and put filling in, with a plan to put a cap on after I gave birth (I was 6 months pregnant at the time). I paid them at the time for everything they had done. Over a year later, they called me asking for more money, saying I didn't pay it all in full. When I told them it was because they didn't finish putting the cap on, they said that was not the case, and I just hadn't paid in full. So they are rude liars who don't care about their patients.

They take advantage of people and procedures, and their follow up is horrible. My whole family goes here, but we will not be going here again.

Jeanette (who does their billing), is a true professional. In the past, I wasn’t getting good service (like no follow through or calls back), but Jeanette is a breath of fresh air. She is prompt, efficient, and does what she says she is going to do. Thanks Jeanette

They are unprofessional and rude. Not only do they not tell you how much its going to cost, they lie to you about it, and then throw a bigger bill at you over a year later.
The dentist themselves seem nice enough, but between lost appointments and forgotten invoices and lied about total amounts, don't trust them with your money or your mouth. With so many other dentists in Anchorage, you would think they would want to keep the customers they have, but obviously they don't care about their customers.
DONT GO HERE. SHADY AND UNPROFESSIONAL

In Short: Terrible environment and culture. Dr Higgins treats his assistants and front office staff poorly. Only looking to make money. Recommending unnecessary dental procedures and not concerned for what's best for the patient.
I've heard so many horror stories about this place now that I've shared my story with others, and come to find out their experiences were just as bad. As I was sitting in the lobby, I heard the dentist shouting about how the clinic wasn't making any money that day because there were no patients in the chair. I immediately knew I would be encouraged to accept a dental procedure I didn't need. Sure enough I was - which would have been incredibly painful, multiple office visits, and weeks of healing time. I felt bullied into trying to make a decision. When I pushed back and said I wanted to do my research as this was the first I'd heard any of this, he said it was fine, but it would remain in my chart. He went on to continue explaining why I needed it - that my gums would recede, I would lose my teeth, etc.
Upon second opinion, I was told it was not necessitated and I wasn't going to "lose my teeth." In Dr Higgins recommendation, he was adamant that the procedure was "qualified" because of x,y,z and insurance would pay for it. Looking back on this - he kept referring to what I was "qualified" for, not necessarily what was best for me as a patient and a person.
Ask questions. do your research. Go off of word of mouth, and DO NOT accept any dental procedures you are unfamiliar with or if you feel bullied or 'strongly encouraged' into accepting.

Fun, professional, and fast. Three words I don't usually associate with a dentist office but I really like the people here, they care about each other and the customers, and they get the work done and send me on my way. I've been a customer for 7 years and never considered going anywhere else.

The members of the Four Corners Staff work hand in hand to assure that all aspects of the business are understood and answered. They are flexible and accommodating. Doctor Higgins takes a conservative approach using modern technology to view, appreciate and zero in on problems for your interest and welfare. It's a great team to get to know.

Dr. Higgins and his assistant Onree did a great job in my procedure. Also, Claudia the Office Manager is very knowledgeable explaining the procedure, the timetable for the next stage to complete my scheduled program in unison with my insurance coverage periods.

If I could offer no stars at all, I would. I cam here a few years ago for a dental screening, pretty much just a consultation because I was needing a new dentist. My stepmother came with me and talked to the receptionist at the front desk while I filled out forms. They found that they had a mutual dislike for a woman they both knew. Well apparently someone else in the office was listening and knew the woman they disliked and were basically talking smack about. I was just filling out my paperwork and minding my business. Later on in the day, I received a threatening, irrational and slandering Facebook message from the woman they were talking about.. hmm.. now how in the world would this woman know MY NAME or any of my info without someone in the office violating my HIPAA rights? The answer is she didn't. Someone blatantly released my info to this unimportant woman. So if you like drama and unnecessary stress, go here for sure.

Great experience , Dr. Hyer, and other dental professionals like Mary and Jackie did a great job with a kind disposition, masterful skill and follow up. Also Claudia and Gwen are most helpful, friendly and professional managing the dental office and clients. I appreciate the cleanliness and the nice environment that reflects very reasonable pricing. Other dental places charge outrageous prices for a spa like experience that does not make up for the excellence and added value that the professional staff at Four Corners consistently delivers.

I know quite a few people who goes here and they always have nothing but good things to say. Finally had the opportunity to experience it for myself and it was the best decision I have ever made. Their staff is so friendly and very welcoming. Gwen and Claudia definetely sets the mood for folks as they come through. :) Will be coming back for sure.

I don't think I would recommend this place. When I had my initial exam, the dr. was talking about quite a few repairs that he would do and I was given a quote of $300 for everything. I paid the money and showed up for my appointment. Out of all the things that he was talking about he had finished about a half. I called and complained about the issue and was invited to come over for a post-op four days later. I will see what's going to happen next week and post another review.
... They scheduled me to get the rest of the work done two weeks later. The doctor called in sick. So they scheduled me another two weeks later :) ... I got the rest of the work done and paid additional $120. Bummer. When I came home I got another bill in the mail for $100. Something they said the insurance refuses to cover. I have specifically told them not to do anything that isn't covered by my insurance. Yup, don't think I'll be coming back to this place.

About 8 months ago, a few weeks prior to our visit, we planned with our orthodontist and the dentist Dr. Hyer at Four Corners Dental Group a treatment plan for our daughter.
Despite planning ahead, and providing two forms of dental insurance and payment in hand, the office took nearly 8 months to correctly submit the billing and necessary paperwork to the insurance companies. On more than one occasion they sent an itemized bill to my underage daughter. Ultimately, we needed to correspond with them using certified mail.
When we arrived at the appointment to have my daughter's wisdom teeth removed and fillings filled, my daughter and wife were asked to come to the back. Initially the first I.V. insertion failed, and my daughter grew teary, my wife was asked to leave and gather prescriptions -while they tried again.
Instead of leaving, my wife waited in the lobby while I went to get the prescriptions in case there were any complications. We also had a few questions for the dentist in regard to the prescriptions when he came out and to see my daughter when she woke.
While I was collecting the meds from two different pharmacies, there was no communication with my wife from the staff.
A man dressed in street clothes walked out from the back pushing my daughter in a wheel chair. My daughter, for lack of better words was out of it, drooping over the arms of the wheelchair. I introduced myself to the man who shared he was an off duty assistant. I asked if there were any complications and shared it looked like it was to early to leave - she couldn't hold her head up and would barely respond to me. He replied, he didn't know and advised I needed to talk with the dentist for information. He apologized for being in street clothes and any confusion.
My wife requested she speak to the dentist or main assistant that did the work to learn why there was a change in the treatment plan. The staff shared the dentist and the main assistant had already left for the night.
