Fresh Dental Care

I have been a patient with Fresh Dental for years now. Dr Parisa is thorough and gentle, focusing on preventative care to maintain the best smile health for a lifetime. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly to me, the office is super wheelchair friendly. I highly recommend this office!

Scheduled with them as a new, cash patient after my other office in town closed, and when I started dealing with tooth pain around the holidays. Felt pressured into paying for the more in-depth X-rays by the dentist “for insurance purposes” even though I told the dentist I was a cash patient. New patient exam was about double the cost of what I thought. I was surprised and distraught when she quoted $20,000 worth of work even though I had just wrapped up my current treatment plan at the old office only 9 months prior. For the tooth extraction, I was assured a couple of times it would be more complex and surgical (more expensive); day of the associate said it would easy peasy, and low and behold they overcharged for the visit even though I made it clear I was working on a budget and this kinda cropped up as a dental emergency for me. Upon a follow up cleaning last week, I found out they’re no longer honoring the 25% off cash discount that I was told they give, it’s now only 10%, and the dentist found even more work to be done! I’ve called and requested my recent X-ray records twice now and still haven’t received them. Won’t be going back; friendly helpful staff, but seems like a money grab office overall.

I worked previously at Fresh Dental Care as the Treatment Plan Coordinator. Doctor Rahmanian is above and well beyond extraordinary. Words cannot express enough, the passion that pours from this business for their patients. Broke my heart to leave this job! Every day it is patient focused care and concern, and every measure possibly taken to ensure top of the line treatment is delivered every time. The Doctor personally connects herself to the quality of each persons experience, and takes it to heart. I had an absolute pleasure coordinating people’s financials with their oral health care needs, something that’s very sensitive to most people. I was able to offer the most economical cost, for dental work that is not only guaranteed, but gorgeous and long lasting. Patients get hooked on the staff because they’re unlike any other work environment there is. Each person is intelligent, unique, and personable yet professional. Staff gets together outside of work and rallies together to bond, and help the community. All people and all walks of life are welcomed here, heard, understood, and supported. This is one of THE BEST Alaskan businesses, and dentistry I have ever seen in action. As a former employee, I recommend this dentistry for anyone who wants to search for care, and take the guidance and recommendations of the most prestigious dentist in Alaska. Today was my consultation here at Fresh Dental Care. EVERYONE was so kind and caring. I’ve had some bad experiences with dentistry in the last year and this place is a breath of fresh air. Looking forward to going back and getting my dental work done.

Horrible practice my son got sick and had to reschedule they pushed his follow up out over 3 months and changed policy to no longer accept medicaid 2 weeks before his appointment what a petty thing to do they still call and text me to make appointments with them as well

Dr. Rahmanian is an amazing dentist. She is always pleasant and takes the time to explain each issue in a way that you can understand. Her staff will research your options if further work is needed, and tell you exactly what your insurance will cover before any work is performed. The office is clean and presents a relaxing environment.

The staff are always professional and kindly, and I have confidence that Dr. Rahmanian is very competent by the way she explains my situation and the recommendations that she makes. The office itself is immaculately clean, at a nice location, and has wonderful views of the mountains from the dental chair!

My visit was great, the office was nice and calming i was in and out quick!

Would give a negative star if I could. Went for a check up/exam. I was told I needed two crowns four fillings and a mouth guard. Had the work done despite having my doubts since my regular dentist never mentioned this six months prior. I had the work done and have had a lot of problems since. Went back to my regular dentist sheepishly and they told me this was really aggressive and I may now need a root canal because of the sensitivity. I had no pain prior to all this. Now I can’t eat or drink anything too hot or cold and have constant pain. Do not go there!!!

Very friendly staff. No wait on arrival for appointment. They explain everything in detail including the billing. And they give back to Alaska. Can't say enough.
