There is no better dental care in Gilbert than Dr. Wollschlager and the staff at Avalon Dental. She has gone above and beyond to help resolve a very serious dental issue. She saw me immediately and provided me with some affordable options to get the appropriate dental prosthetic. Now I look presentable haha. Super friendly and always enjoyable to be around! She is amazing!

My family has been going to Avalon Dental for at least 10 years. They are always so nice, friendly, always accommodating with schedule changes and we know that we will always be in the best care with our dental needs.

I had an old crown that came off and needed and implant. I used a different oral surgeon and lab than they usually work with based on recommendations from other dental professionals. Long story short, after paying $494 to start then switching to another dentist they would only refund $200. In other words their charge to do impressions and temporarily cement the old crown back on was $294. Seems excessive to me and I don't feel like I was fairly dealt with on this.

Avalon Dental is the go to place for dentistry! Great staff, and that includes from front desk to the office and to all those who care for us while "in the chair."

I absolutely love Avalon Dental. I have been a patient since I was about 7 years old and I am now 20! The staff is amazing and all so very kind. I have been blessed to be one of many of their patients and also getting to work with them as I also work in the dental field and next door to Avalon Dental!

I have been a patient for about 5 years now and I have never had a bad experience. Everyone is so nice and friendly.

My family and I have been coming to Avalon Dental for 5+ years now. They are always friendly, accommodating and welcoming. One year we didn’t have dental insurance and we were still able to come in for regular cleanings and pay out of pocket, comfortably.

We love Avalon dental! Angie and all the hygienists are awesome! They have been great with my whole family and makes the kids feel relaxed and they love coming to see her! The front office makes the process so easy!

Dr. Wollschlager is now the dentist we see but my comments from 3 years ago still apply. This is a good dental practice. (from 2019) Dr. Peifer and the team at Avalon Dental provide top tier medical care. They are professional, genuinely kind, and run their appointments on time. There may be a long lead time for appointments, but that is just further testament to a quality run business.

If I could give this office negative stars I would. This office is not the same since Dr. Peifer left. Don’t let the name fool you. This isn’t the same Avalon Dental it once was. Dr. Peifer was very caring toward his patients. Instead, this office treats patients like they’re running through a conveyor belt and not as a person with individual needs. The staff is also rude which to me felt directly correlated to the culture they breed.

The staff at Avalon dental were amazing. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in and was taken back to be seen right away. My hygienist Angie was great and kept me informed on everything she had to do to keep me comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Wollschlager who was extremely personable and gentle when checking my teeth. My family and I will be moving to the west side of town this month but I will continue to make our trips to Avalon for all of our dental care!

Highly recommend this office! They’re extremely professional & accommodating. Got me in and out for an emergency appointment and I’m so thankful for that.

I went to this dental office and had extensive dental work done in 2013 thru 2015. The office staff was very pleasant and Dr. Peifer seemed very empathetic to my dental needs especially after my car accident where it left me in need of more dental work.. I had to have my front upper teeth extracted and have a bridge put in. This experience has been nothing short of catastrophic for me. I'm so embarrassed to smile and show my teeth because the bridge was set in crooked, not a little crooked but badly crooked, enough for my family and friends to comment on how badly and "awkward " it looks.. I told Dr. Peifer that I thought it looked terribly crooked and he responded that I was incorrect and that I was looking at it wrong..How could I be looking at it "wrong"? He told me he would have to charge me again if I didn't like what he did. I could not afford another $2500 (again)..Now, because the bridge was not set correctly plush to my right gum, Im having gum issues with it receding because of exposure.. Because Dr. Peifer would not see or correct what he had done, Iam currently trying to get this corrected by another dentist..I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just telling the truth of my experience at Avalon Dental..

Awesome from start to finish

I’ve been going to Avalon Dental since it was originally called Breeze Dental back in 2010. I have to say that this is the BEST dental office I have ever been to. Many companies promise to treat you like family, but this small business delivers. They know our entire family by name and always remember what’s going on in our lives and wants updates on how things are going. Literally remembers everything and truly cares about us. They are the true definition of customer service and genuinely know how to build relationships with their patients. If you’re looking for a new dental office that truly cares about you, this is the one!

One of the beat dentist experiences I’ve had! I saw doctor K and she was so sweet! Saw a few other people in the appointment and everyone did such a good job of explaining what they were doing, and making me feel comfortable in the process. The two front desk ladies that I talked to were also super super sweet and were able to work with my schedule for my next appointment. Love this dentist!!

Thank you to Avalon Dental. The majority of my experience with Dentists is going to get things that the Army did to my teeth fixed! I have had a very hard time in AZ finding a Dentist that is honest, professional and does decent work. I am so grateful for Avalon and the entire staff. This is the first dental experience in Arizona where I didn't have to meet with a closer and negotiate my bill before we could even talk about getting work done. First, it was found out during my emergency exam due to a broken tooth during COVID 19 lockdown that i was in need of a root canal that needed a specialist. I was referred out, expected at the other facility and insurance was already properly communicated. Let me say that again. AVALON DENTAL SET ME UP WITH A SEPARATE PROFESSIONAL TO PROPERLY CARE FOR ME AND ENSURED THAT THEY EVEN HAD MY INFO SO IT WOULD BE LESS STRESSFUL. After getting the necessary treatment done at the specialist I was now ready for Avalon. They welcomed me back, where prepared for my visit and even had my insurance in place.... excuse me while I wipe away tears of joy at the level of PROFESSIONALISM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Their staff is caring and friendly on top of knowing their jobs. AVALON DENTAL IS THE STANDARD! THANK YOU!!

this is a place where you can trust that the job will be doing in a professional and kind way. Everyone in the office is very kind that you will have to call them family. This will always be my dentist.
