Dr. Kirk and the Staff at Westervelt Dental are a top notch team. With all my many visits to the dentist over the years, they rate among the very best. It is always tough to go and face the dentist; anticipating pain and discomfort, but with Dr. Westervelt, I know he will do his best to suppress the pain and make is as comfortable as possible.

A family atmosphere great people, sure glad I found them. Doesn't try to oversell but instructs you on preventive care.

Gratitude and Appreciation are just 2 words that I feel about finding Dr. Kirk Westervelt. For years I decided that I would not go to another dentist again unless an emergency transpired. I had given UP on dentistry as a result of some crazies out there just trying to make a buck on recommending the next tooth whitening, root canal, or implants= BIG MONEY MAKERS. Long story short: One of the last dentist I saw here in Sedona- 3 years ago- told me "I wouldn't bother wasting time cleaning your teeth-it's better to pull them out and do all implants". He told me that I had 7 abscesses and that it wouldn't be worth wasting the time and $$ on cleaning my teeth. I was in shock as I did not believe that to be true so I mailed those Xrays that he took to a Dentist friend of mine in Seattle- his response was "No way is that true, you have the beginning of just ONE abscess. Work surely needed to be done after my looooong reprieve from dentistry but not as extensive as that last dentist stated! As a result of mistrust with Dentistry here- I decided while on vacation in Thailand last year to just get my teeth cleaned and have 2 pin hole cavities filled there. Then long came Kirk Westervelt- what a guy!!!!! He is the FIRST Dentist that I totally have faith in and trust. Almost immediately I felt comfortable with Dr. Westervelt- he is genuine & honest. Kirk prepped a tooth for a crown for me today- I nearly fell asleep in the chair because of the trust, gentleness and professional approach I felt from him and his beautiful assistant Michelle. Karen is Dr. Westervelt's Secretary- she is not only very professional but so fun and informative. The entire Staff there is fabulously wonderful! I wish more Dentist were like Dr. Westervelt- I will go to him from this point on for ANY mouth Work/ART that I need. I feel deeply blessed to have him as my Dentist. From someone who was an Anti-Denti for so long this says it all:) Thank you Kirk Westervelt and his family of stafff- THANK YOU

I have been going to Dr Westervelt since just after they opened. Their office staff is very compassionate and understanding of my needs. Dr Westervelt has on numerous occasions gotten me in emergently which is a God send when you are in severe mouth pain. I moved a year ago two hours away from Dr Westervelt's practice. I have numerous other health issues which make driving long distances difficult, but I will gladly endure the discomfort to continue to go to such a wonderful, caring Dentist. I hope he never retires!
