Unbelievably... it was actually fun!! I'm a new patient for Dr. Randall, and I feel so lucky to now have her as my dentist! I currently live far away, so being able to get my initial appointment, x-rays, cleaning, crown (I had broken a tooth) and two small fillings all done on the same day (no extra visits!) was a huge benefit to me. The office atmosphere is casual and friendly, while still being professional, and I really enjoyed this. Christine (dental assistant and front desk) and Dr. Randall clearly have a wonderful rapport and work extremely well together. Typically a dentist appointment isn't *fun* (for me, at least), but this one actually was, because Dr. Randall let me view the entire crown-making process: computer design, going into the lab to see the milling and baking processes---I even got to take a video of my own crown being made. I saw Dr. Randall's meticulous care in getting the boundaries of the crown *just right* to ensure a perfect fit. It was so much fun to have an opportunity to see this technology! The information I had been given ahead of time about both costs and how much time things would take were *completely* accurate. In particular, it is very important to me to have accurate cost information up front, since I have no dental insurance. I checked around a lot, and the costs were completely reasonable. I waited a few days before writing this review to see how my mouth would feel after all this work. Best ever! I had only some very minor discomfort the night of the dental appointment, and woke up the next day not even being aware that I had extensive work the day before. This is wonderful---I have several crowns, and for others (not done by Dr. Randall) my mouth has ached for days. Also, the color matching to my existing teeth, for both the crown and the fillings (which were both on visible parts of my lower front teeth) was superb. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Randall is very attentive to her work and extremely detail oriented! I definitely would recommend coming to Caring Smiles to anyone needing a great dentist in town :)

I was so accepted. He allowed me not to have dental X-rays with my full mouth of 18 a few years ago. He was just very accepting of me and so pleasant. He explained to me better than any other dentist what receding gums were. His hygienist did excellent and worked with me much better than other hygienists that I have had.

I originally chose "A Caring Place Dentistry" as they offered laser cleaning (which makes a difference to my teeth & gum health). Then I learned more helpful information at the appt with the dental hygienist, Erin. The receptionist, Christine, is not only very pleasant to work with but I found is also knowledgeable about dentistry as I started asking questions. The dentist, Dr Walbom, has the advantage of having more experience than most dentists & is very is thorough & careful in his work. I highly recommend if you're looking for these qualities!

Appointment scheduling was easy, and they provide lots of appointment reminders. I did not have to wait and was seen at my scheduled appointment time (thank you). Relaxed and cozy environment, great music, and wonderfully friendly staff who were gentle with my mouth & teeth. Their rates are priced very reasonably. I will be back :)

I have been a patient of Dr. Walbom's at A Caring Place Dentistry for over a decade. He's a great dentist! I particularly like his willingness to incorporate new technologies into his dental work. For example, when I get fillings now, I don't get novocaine. Rather, he uses a laser to create an anesthetic effect. The beauty of this is that after the filling is complete, I'm not numb for hours. It's awesome. I also like his focus on preventative care. On a final note, I really love the other people who work in his office. They're friendly and professional, and I always look forward to seeing them.

I have been going to A Caring Place for about 4 years and I have never had anything less than a great experience. They have the best hygienists of any dentist I've ever been to, and the scheduler is nice and accommodating. They have very reasonable prices (if you're a cash-payer) and they don't try to push you into services that you don't want. I trust Doc Walbom knows his stuff. I highly recommend this dentist for anyone in Tucson area who needs one.

Everything about my visit was very good. We started on time. X-rays cleaning and exam were done in a very professional manner. The hygienist was very knowledgeable and efficient. Will visit again in the fall.

I’ve been going to this dentistry for almost 10 years. I hated going to the dentist and avoided it for far too long. Dr Walbom and every single member of his staff put me at ease and made me feel extremely comfortable... like family. Recently Dr Walbom recognized that I may have issues with sleep apnea, which was confirmed. Not wanting to go the CPAP route, Dr Walbom was able to fit me with a TAP3 airway management dental device. It works!! My fiancé and I are amazed. My out-of-control snoring no longer exists! Now he wakes up to make sure I’m still breathing. I would highly recommend Dr Walbom and especially the TAP3 device to anyone experiencing Issues with sleep apnea. The device is also much more affordable than a CPAP.
