I came in last week for a cleaning with katie. Im hesistant at the dentist but she was very kind and gentle. The doctors are amazing at what they do. The atmosphere was pleasant and the entire staff from the front to the back office were efficent and friendly. Highly recommended.

Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Tran are the best dentists I've had in my life. [Update - I just got crowns on my two front teeth, which were discolored from a childhood illness, and I've never wanted to smile more in my life!] They're kind, gentle and skilled at what they do. They're also very nice people. Going to the dentist can be scary. Having a dentist I can trust to make the experience pain free and comfortable is wonderful. I have an anxiety disorder, and sometimes some tics. My tongue has a mind of its own when the dentist is in there. Medication leads to dry mouth and it's sometimes hard for me to open and close on command. I'm not an easy patient. Having a kind and gentle doctor is a must for me. If you read their bios, you'll learn that Dr. Tran & Dr. Nguyen are a married couple, and that their family is very involved in the community. In addition to leading their son's Cub Scout pack, they're involved with helping out at the Emerge Center for women who have encountered domestic violence. Also, both doctors work with special needs populations. I remember 15-20 years ago, hearing the parent of a young man with severe autism describe the challenge getting dental care. When I found out the great lengths they go to to work with individuals with special needs, I realized how much a kind character matters. Doctors who practice this sort of kindness are naturally kind in every aspect of their practice, and have a gentleness and type of patient care that is exceptional. I've honestly never recommended a dentist before. But I would recommend Family Dental Group to everyone. I am so blessed to have found them!

The dentists are nice but their business practices are shady and will try to perform procedures you dont need

It had been years since I last went to the dentist until about a year and a half ago. I, like most, had anxiety going into the office for the first time not knowing what to expect. To my great comfort - both Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen met with me to consult about a plan moving forward. We decided upon the best course of action, and then with the help of Melinda the office manager, they worked with my insurance to lowered the burden of everything being done at once. Mind you this was happening during the height of Covid-19 and I noticed every time I went into the office it was usually very busy. However, Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen always made an attempt to stop in to check on me as they are a husband/wife team even if I was just in for a cleaning. Sometimes it would be months in between visits yet they somehow always knew my particular case and part of the plan we happened to working on. I didn't feel as if I was just another patient of theirs as they passed their time. My concerns regarding the health of my mouth were their concerns. When it comes to the work they did I can't stress how impactful it's been on my life. Not only am I more healthy but my confidence has returned after I'm now able to smile without shame. Dr. Nguyen in particular once told me one of his "hobbies" was "dentistry." I told him that can't be a hobby since it's his life's work and passion. He followed up with "Well, I'm just a nerd about this kind of stuff. I think about it all the time and study patient files. I take pride in what I do." It shows. And his wife Dr. Tran has the best bedside manner of any dentist I've ever had. It doesn't feel like she's "doing things to you" more so than "doing things for you." It's the little things that mean a lot. I'm proud to write a Google review even though I never have before. Wishing them and their staff the best of luck moving forward.

Be aware seeing the dentists at this office. They trying to make an extra money by giving fluoride treatment to grown up without asking then charge for it later. When My daughter called the office about the extra charge, they informed my daughter that they went up on the cleaning fee. However, I found out thru my insurance company that it was for the fluoride treatment. When I confronted the office about this charge then they changed their story. They are not honest dentist so do not let them fool you by nice to you up front. Make sure review your bill carefully, if this is your dentist.

I highly recommend Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen. I am from Ohio and recently moved to Tucson. After seeing other dentists and having an implant that was originally inserted wrong by my dentist in Ohio, I found Family Dental Group through my dental insurance network and they have awesome reviews through Cigna. These two doctors are the most kind and caring doctors I’ve ever met. Look at the before and after photo I attached. My dentist in Ohio (and 2 different periodontists) told me I was basically stuck with my front tooth being so much higher than my other one. My front tooth! After spending thousands of dollars on unnecessary surgeries, these specialists & dentists in Ohio told me I was stuck with this. While in Tucson, Family Dental accommodated my schedule and I got a bridge. They explained the entire process to me, step by step. Look at the after photo. This is the kind of excellence you will receive from Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen! I finally have my confidence back and can smile thanks to them!

This dental practice is amazing! I called on a Monday afternoon, saying that I had lost a crown the day before. The scheduler was able to get me in on Wednesday morning and my replacement crown was ready by 2 p.m. that same day. I have in the past waited for ten days with a temporary filler while the crown was made. This practice designs and makes them in house. I think they may have given up or shortened their lunch hour to get it done! The dentists are personable and kind. My regular dentist is Dr. Tran but Dr. Ngyugen came in to help with the imaging for the crown and he remembered I had gone to my son's wedding over the summer, and that it was in North Carolina. Not only do they really care, they lead a team-oriented practice that really delivers on service and access. I'll never go anywhere else!

I had a good experience here my first time. But when I had a dental emergency I called and the receptionist was very “unhelpful.” Stated that they might be able to see me but I would have to just sit and wait. When I asked if I could make an appt next week I was told “no they are out of town” I asked for suggestions and all I got was “mam like I told you, I can’t answer that” I understand that people go on vacation. That’s not the issue. The issue is that when you go on vacation you should have some kind of recommendation for dental emergencies in your absence. It is unfortunate because I very much liked the dentist here but like most places, the front office staff sets the tone for most visits.

I've had a lot of work done, cleaning, partials, root canals, fillings, etc. Every time I come out happy with the results of the work done. Excellent. The staff and Drs are very good and very nice.

How is it that these kinds of places have been around for 25-30 years and only managed to have a handful of reviews? There's confidence for ya! I heard this place was pretty bad but I usually like to take a look at the comments first. Glad I did, it only confirmed what I was told.

Best cleaning I've ever had in 35 years. Very thorough and professional.

The manager melinda was extremely rude. I tried suggesting and she wasnt receiving it at all. Not only that. She began to argue when all I asked was for her not to use a tone and be cordial. After her threatening to end the call I went ahead and did it for her

I had a very bad experience at this place, Melinda ( front desk / manager ) Is very rude and not professional at all . No customer Service Skills at all . I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone .

Dr.Nguyen and Dr.Tran are the best. They are caring, loving, gentle, respectful. I've been with them for a long time and thanks to them I have a nice smile. God bless them.

Seriously amazing. I have access so my insurance is emergency only. The doctor worked with me and I recieved the best care. Most dentists won't even take access! They always squeeze me in the same day when I'm feeling pain.

Great doctors, and great service. Fillings were done so well that you cant tell the difference.

Just needed an emergency referral to an oral surgeon, but I would come back here again. Dr. Nguyen was very pleasant. Even the dental assistant was emphatic when she took my x-ray because I was super nervous.
