Hammel Dentistry

I am giving one star and I never give one star for anything. I emailed this clinic and told them my insurance information and they told me that they took my insurance but I did not ask if it was in-network which that is what I assumed they meant. My insurance was out-of-network so my bill was a lot higher than expected. It is partially on my end since I could have double-checked but I feel like the situation was a little shady and I will not use this clinic again.

Highly recommend. If you have high anxiety about going to the dentist, the staff & Dr Hammel are extremely patient and understanding.

If you're looking for a great dentist & dental hygienists to to Dr. Katherine Hammel. She and her staff are gentle, professional and thorough!! I've recommended several others to her and they have not been disappointed.

I have been seeing Dr. Hammel for several years. Her staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Dee is very efficient and a pleasure to have my cleanings done every six months. I can't say enough about Dr. Hammel's expertise and friendly demeanor that keeps me coming back as a patient. Thank you .

I have been going to one dentist or another for more than 65 years, and Hammel Dentistry by far is the best. I wish I had discovered them long before my initial visit a few years ago. They have provided the full range of services for me----from routine hygienic support to fillings, crowns, and night guards. Dr. Hammel is super, and the staff is great. They are patient and empathetic, and always listen to my concerns and questions. I fully and unreservedly recommend this dental practice. I think you will agree, so give it a go.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hammel's for well over a decade, and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else! Having had quite a bit of work done on my teeth over the years, I can attest to the blend of professionalism, friendliness and superb level of care she and the entire staff consistently provide. I was recommended to dr hammel by a friend when I had a chipped tooth that was hurting . I was hesitant to go to any dentist as my last experience in a dental office was horrible. Dr hammels office got me an appt in a reasonable amount of time and dr hammel and staff were so great.. She was understanding of my fear and listened and helped me relax and took care of my tooth. I felt comfortable enough to make another appt for some more work and she never pushed anything on me that I didn’t need and explained everything to me. The assistant and dental hygienist were super nice and good also! They also have a cute little dog that runs around the office and seemed to know i needed emotional encouragement and came in the room and sat on my lap during X-rays!! That was the icing on the cake 🥰

5 stars. Been coming here since she opened. When I moved back to Tucson, I knew where to go. Very friendly staff and modern technology.

Absolutely the best dentist and staff in town! My daughter and I have had lots of work done, all of it done professionally. But the one overriding concern was my daughter's fear of dentists. These ladies calmed her fears and walked her through her procedures. I can't say enough good things about them. And they have darling office dogs, Sam and Bob!

The best dental care I’ve ever received.

I broke a crown and needed it repaired. Dr. Hammel could replace it in one visit because she owns the equipment to image my mouth in 3d and to cut the new crown. The new crown is of exceptional quality. It looks and works great! In the past, at other dental offices, I would have to go to two appointments and wear a temporary crown for a few weeks. What a relief to have it done in one visit. Dr. Hammel and her staff are very professional and made me feel at ease. Her office processed my insurance paperwork with no problems.

I had chipped a couple teeth right before thanksgiving and they did everything possible to make sure I could smile and eat with my family on turkey day! Kind, caring, and professional staff. Also, I've had many dentist give me a Novocain injection to numb the area before dental work; Dr. Hammel is by far the most gentle, least painful experience I have ever had!!!!

Dr. Hammel & her staff are tremendous! They are trustworthy, kind, & provide excellent care. Dr. Hammel even went out of her way to accommodate my schedule when I was in a pinch. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a professional who truly cares about their patients.
