Oracle Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics

Dr. Bortz, Dr. Yoon, and the hygienists are great, especially Julie. The office is consistently clean and cleanings are done well. Staff are all friendly. The only thing area that might be able to use improvement is preparedness for the 8am (first) appointments. Staff and doctors are walking in right at 8:00am and it seems to create a minor delay in getting started with those early appointments. But everything else is great, been coming here for 9 years and I'll remain here! I recommend them for crowns as well, they do a fantastic job.

I recently visited Oracle Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics for the first time. I found the staff to be very friendly and informative on the procedures that would be taking place. Dr. Bortz is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. He took the time to explain the treatment plan he had laid out for me clearly and thoroughly. Highly Recommended!!

My husband and I have been getting all of our dental services here since 2016 and we are thoroughly impressed with their quality of care! Dr. Bortz is extremely passionate about what he does and is a walking encyclopedia of dentistry. We are so grateful to be in his care and we know we are in good hands with him and his friendly and professional staff!

I visited a few days ago and had a phenomenal experience from start to finish. The first time I had a blast at the going to the dentist and def recommend those who are looking for a new dentist. The team is very honest and straightforward with phenomenal suggestions to take better care of my teeth.

Sadly you can not give a zero! The front desk staff was friendly and the young man who did my x rays ; and then things got worse! I was lectured for my BP being too high( white coat syndrome) and tried explaining why it was running high,and was told by Dr Soto that I need to see a doctor to get on medication for this! It is unfortunate that this Dr did not have proper manners not to cross the line since he is not an MD and doesn't know all my medical history! The dental assistant was trying to be helpful to no avail! I am getting a second opinion from a private practice provider to see if my molar needs a crown or extraction! It was very traumatic for me yesterday!

If you just want a regular cleaning, look elsewhere. They won't allow you to have a regular cleaning done unless you first do a bunch of extremely expensive deep cleanings first, which (for me) weren't fully covered by my insurance, and would have cost $500 out of pocket ($1k+ without insurance). Edit: Went to a different dentist. They laughed and let me know my teeth were in perfect health. No deep cleaning needed.

I hadn't been to a dental office in years , they didn't make me feel guilty or ashamed! The staff was so understanding! Very thoughtful and kind. I felt that I could ask any questions. They explained things and let me know my options. Very pleased with today's visit . Almost forgot...the music Playlist is purfect!!😀😁

Dr. Bortz is a real one. Thankful to him and the team here on Oracle for getting me in fast and taking care of me! I am grateful to have encountered him today -- I was in a lot of pain and he took care of my situation all while being such a funny soul. :)

I am very happy with the service I receive here. Our family switched about a year ago when our dental insurance changed. The equipment, facilities, and personnel are great. All equipment is clean and new, the facilities are modern and attractive, and the personnel are all friendly and efficient. I have to specifically call out Joanna Stand, RDH as an outstanding hygienist. She was gentle, didn't drown me, and was very knowledgeable during today's visit. She was also informative about the condition of my teeth and what I can do to improve them. Please assign her to me for all my cleanings!

I enjoyed my visit today. Kaylani was efficient with her duties. Sary was thorough and conscientious with her hygiene care. Dr. Bortz was swift and (dare I say) fun during the exam. Great team, not much else I could have wanted.

Came in as a new PT for a cleaning and to discuss some future work. The team is fantastic, from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentist. I won’t be going anywhere else, 10/10 would recommend 🤘🏻

Amazing! Very military friendly, which in my experience is uncommon among many civilian healthcare providers. I had been referred to a different dentist that took over a month to submit a tricare claim, did so incorrectly, and lacked professionalism, basic respect, and care for their patients. My friend recommended Oracle Modern Dentistry after I’d become so frustrated at the incompetence of the other dentist that I cancelled an upcoming wisdom tooth extraction appointment. I called them and from the minute they picked up the phone to the minute I walked (actually, was wheeled) out of the office following wisdom teeth extraction, they were incredibly friendly, professional, knew what they were doing, and really seemed to care about their patients. I highly recommend this office.

Dr Bortz, his assistants; Ramiro and Kaycee really stepped up in my time of need. Let me first say that it is easy to deliver great service when everything lines up perfectly. When scheduling and equipment shortcomings attempted to derail my “emergency” dental work, this team came through proving to me that I was a valued client and they were not willing to commit any shortcuts to make sure I was taken care of. FIRST, Dr Bortz and Ramiro came in on a day they were scheduled to be closed! I was going to start cancer treat soon and all due to my procrastination, I never scheduled the recommended dental work, crowns, etc. Yet,despite my failing to schedule these over the past year, they made time to come into the office that day after Thanksgiving to get my treatments closer to completion so that I don’t have to deal with them post cancer-treatment. SECOND. Their brand new scanner had an issue, so instead of doing the easy thing and rescheduling, they contacted another office that has the same scanner and drive me to that office to get my scans completed. That’s going above and beyond. THIRD. Dr. Bortz, Kaycee and Ramiro stayed in touch with me throughout the process that included new crowns and dental trays. It’s easy to see that Dr. Bortz “knows his stuff” but it is really encouraging to see that he and his staff care about the patient. I HIGHLY recommend the entire Oracle Modern Dentistry office for any dental procedure.

It’s a big time bummer to find 2 dentist I really like at Oracle Modern Dentistry. Dr. Watts and Dr. Bortz, along with their assistants have been great for the most part. But the lack of communication between the front staff, some technician assistance and Dr. Miller, has me ready to look elsewhere for the dental care. Several times, I have not been contacted about appointment changes. $3700 later, I still do not have my implant despite being told differently from the beginning from Dr. Miller. And now I paid another $100 for a temporary filler and showed up for the appointment only to be told it wasn’t ready. $3800 and a lack of common courtesy has this place going down the drain. Too bad, because I really liked Dr. Watts and Dr. Bortz.

This is the first review I've ever written for any business, but I felt it necessary because of how good my experience at Oracle Modern Dentistry was... Dr. Bortz and the staff at O.M.D. are simply amazing! I was in an extreme amount of pain and they scheduled me in right away for an emergency Root Canal and Crown. The procedures were quick and painless, they explained everything to me very thoroughly and I was well taken care of. I didn't have to wait at all, the facility is clean and comfortable, the equipment they utilize is very advanced and Dr. Bortz has an awesome music playlist! I will be taking care of all my future dental needs at Oracle Modern Dentistry and I highly recommend you do the same.

After seeing the same dentist for over ten years, my new insurance sadly wasn't accepted. As I looked around for a new Dentist I found this office, and I am extremely happy that I did! The front desk staff went over scheduling, becoming a new patient was very easy and welcoming. Denise went over payments with my insurance, another staff member took my xrays in a very professional manner. My hygienist was very knowledgeable and professional. A week prior to my appointment they called me to let me know how long I would be there for, this was important to me as I needed to plan my day accordingly. Dr. Bortz is straightforward and professional, he has an amazing team! The office is clean, and hand sanitizer is located everywhere! You get your small treat bag at the end of your visit (toothbrush, floss, toothpaste). I look forward to being their patient for upcoming years! Thank you!!
