I went to Schmidtke Dental for about 2 years, after a long period without dental insurance. Generally there was some embarrassment and shame (no one wants to have bad teeth), but the entire team was friendly, engaging and made going to the dentist a positive experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the East Tucson area. They got me to a good spot with my teeth and though I have since moved, I hope to find a dental team of comparable friendliness and knowledge. It was a great experience and I really value their help.

Six stars! This is by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had in my 53 years. Going to the dentist was my least favorite thing ever and it has caused a great deal of stress in my life. So I would postpone work that I needed to be done until I met Dr. Schmidtke and his amazing team! Every single one of them is so awesome and they make you feel comfortable and safe and taken care of. It has been very rare for me to find affordable dentistry as well. By far the best dentist I could imagine and he will be my lifelong Dentist. Thank you so much for shifting my perspective and experiences so that I can create positive and good dental health for myself! A good dentist is everything! UPDATE: I’m writing this review three weeks after my very first visit because I just want to again express my absolute gratitude and disbelief honestly that a dentist like Dr. Schmidtke even exists. I have literally been postponing and putting off dental work that I needed done for the last few years at least, more like five years. I had gone to see two different dentists that were super nice people but charged an absolute fortune. So getting the work I needed seemed very daunting. Dr. Schmidtke he has so much integrity and he is so very honest. He only did what needed to be done and his pricing is the best I’ve ever experienced. I was able to get all of the dental work that I’ve needed for years done in three weeks. He even did a bit extra by fixing a chip that was stained on my front tooth that I got as a child and has just gotten worse. And he did not even charge me for that! Who does that? He is truly some sort of angel! And so is every single person that works in that office! Almost without words and beyond grateful! I didn’t know people like this existed in the dental realms. Angel souls.
