I'm one of those "picky patients" as I work in the dental service/supply industry, and it doesn't help, I'm a big baby when it comes to dental work. The ENTIRE team at Southern Smiles is amazing. From Trisha to Sheila to Dr Clark herself (can only mention the ones I interacted with!) - they all treat you with respect, personable care, and treat you as their highest priority! The office is very clean and everyone is very knowledgeable. One of my favorite things is they present you all the information so you can make an informed decision WITHOUT "pushing" you into unnecessary "extra" services. Never once was I pressured into anything. They simply gave me facts and their professional opinions. Mrs. Sheila worked on my cleaning for a solid hour (I haven't been to a dentist regularly like I should due to being so picky...) and she didn't once make it seem like I was a burden (even though this resulted in the team being there late, which I'm sorry for). In fact, she made me actually enjoy my time there (imagine enjoying being at the dentist! Haha) I know this is a long review- but I feel it worth mentioning my entire experience. To sum it all up... Caring and educated staff, clean and updated office, Dr Clark is amazing! I will NOT be going anywhere else besides Dr. Clark going forward. I absolutely recommend her and her team!!!!

My wife had a broken tooth the morning of an ice storm in the area. I voicemailed our regular dentist's office to try and get in as soon as possible. When we got no immediate response, I started hunting around to find someone open. A google search resulted in a few offices with excellent reviews, so I started at the top. The first resulted in a voice mail and I noticed that office closed 4 days per week on an ordinary week, let alone a week riddled with weather. I moved on to Southern Smiles and fully expected a voice mail or answering service. 4th ring, Trisha picked up. I explained the problem and she informed me that everyone she knew of was closed except for oral surgery, which I didnt need because we were hoping to save the tooth. She took note of our issue and said she would attempt to find a solution and call me back. I got a call from our regular dentist's office manager stating that someone had contacted our dentist's personal line, prompting the dentist to contact her to see what the problem was. I informed her of the problem and she assured me that there wasn't much that could be done today as their offices were closed due to weather. She began a discussion regarding the possibility of prescribing antibiotics and I told her I was exploring other options to get our problem addressed quicker. I informed her that if I could not, I would call her back. I then got a call back from Trisha after Dr Clark reviewed the info. She notified me that considering the emergent nature of the tooth and the fact we were trying to save it, they would come in and do all they could if we could make it to the office. I was appreciative and we all braved the elements to meet at the office. The office is very modern with welcoming ammenities and atmosphere. My wife has a lot of anxiety about dentistry and a long history of poor dental experiences that contribute to that fear.
