I highly recommend Dr Lawson for your dental needs, friendly staff and great work.

I found Steve Lawson to be personable and professional. All procedures and options were explained And there was a real concern to make sure it was pain-free.

The list of things I would rather do than go to the dentist is long, and includes activities like digging a ditch with a soup spoon or cleaning a public restroom with my tongue. However, that list got a lot shorter today after a visit to Doctor Lawson's office. The dentist and every member of the staff was surprisingly friendly even after I took my mask off which is rare. They also communicated everything in a super easy to understand way that made me question what my 8th grade teacher said about my complete lack of comprehension skills. In short, Dr Lawson and his crew rock, and you should call them if you need to go to the dentist.

Called to confirm they did root canals and a payment plan like their website says. Receptionist was very rude when i asked also stating they do not do payment plans. Looks like they need to update their website.

My Husband needed urgent dental care for a failed root canal that needed attention. After calling our regular dentist and having to deal with a rude receptionist, they would not see us for almost 3 weeks. We called several offices, most were closed due to COVID, and many of those that were open, were unable to see my husband. I finally called Lawson dental and was greeted by a friendly receptionist who was pleasant and very helpful. They were able to fit my husband in to be seen in just a couple of hours. Dr. Lawson was very nice and our overall experience was fantastic. As an essential worker, it was important that my husband be seen right away. Now he can go back to work tomorrow free of pain. Highly Recommend.

If you're looking for an outstanding Dentist who cares about your well being, who ensures that you are pain-free throughout the process, who has fabulous bedside manners, a work ethic above reproach (which is seldom seen these days), and who doesn't try to upsell you or perform more than what you want/need then this is the DDS to see! I would give Dr. Lawson and his staff 10 stars if I could. From the moment you call his office to the moment you leave, you receive nothing less than 100% of their caring, compassion and understanding. Dr. Lawson is truly an outstanding DDS and gentleman who has surrounded himself with an incredible staff. I could not recommed the practice more highly!

I was in horrible pain and in dire need of a root canal. I was originally referred to a Dr. in Chico who had a long waiting list and wanted an arm and a leg for services. Luckily I had done a Google search and came across Dr. Lawson's office, read the great reviews, and called. He was able to get me in ASAP,. he saved my tooth and was affordable. Him and his staff were so patient and understanding, I'm glad I did a little research before I settled for my original referral.

My family has been going to Dr. Lawson since he came to Oroville. We love his office. Everyone is positive, friendly, and helpful. I have had some issues with a couple of teeth lately and Dr. has taken time to explain everything, given me all my options, and answered all my questions. Then he let me make a decision without feeling pressured. His nurse is awesome too tells me to squeeze her hand if I'm having any pain. It's great makes me so much calmer. I have a small mouth and Dr. is very patient with not much room to work. We just love all his staff and him can't imagine going to anyone else. Highly recommend Dr. Lawson!!

My husband was having terrible pain and needed a tooth pulled. I called at least 20 dentists and nobody would help him. It seemed like they didn't care. When I called Dr. Lawson's office it was different. Pat was very caring and gave us an appointment right away. We were treated with respect at the office and didn't have to wait long. Dr. Lawson treated my husband very well and took care of us when nobody else would. I am very thankful to him and his staff.

Very professional very kind and caring. I am from out of town working in the Oroville dam project and had a filling come lose in one of my molars which was very irritating. I called the dentist office and told them that im limited on days off and was lucky to be off this day, they made a last minute appointment for me without hesitation. This place is one of the best dentistry offices I have ever been to and if I have any other problems I will go back no questions asked. Actually I need to go back because I just had another filing fall out tonight looks like I need to find a new dentist when I get home but for now Steve S. Lawson is where I'm going! Thank you guys so very much.

I was impressed by the the skill and professionalism of Dr Lawson. His office staff is a tight group and it was the most painless and non stressful dentistry i have ever had. i highly recommend Dr Steve Lawson. I also enjoyed the fact that coming from Chico gave me the opportunity to get out of town and take the beautiful drive to Oroville.

Our family is fairly new to the office of Dr. Lawson. Both times, I have been in, have been an emergency. They got me right in without having to wait and took care of the problem. His staff is great and are concerned for the comfort and welfare of their patients. I highly recommend this dentist.

Dr. Lawson is the best!! When he came to Oroville in 2009 patients instantly liked him and he had plenty experience with children. He does state of the dentistry, is friendly and efficient. Shelly is an experienced hygienist and seems to love what she does. I would recommend him to anyone and I would encourage anyone looking for a family dentis to call their office.

I am one of the newer additions to Dr. Lawson's Dentistry and would like to say that I really appreciate the outstanding work that he and his staff have preformed on my teeth. I also use to be one of those people that dreaded going to the dentist on regular visits and was apprehensive about even going to exams or check ups.Not anymore! Always enjoy visits to office and receive great dental work. Attention to detail is very comforting and dental cleaning is great. Digital pictures of teeth and gums are informative. Their text messaging appointment reminders are very helpful. Highly recommend office to All!

Wow! I just moved here and I was nervous about finding a good dentist being unfamiliar with the area. Dr. Lawson was excellent! He gave me all my options without any pressure and gave me his suggestions after my tooth cracked. Shelly was also excellent. Very friendly staff and helped me feel very comfortable and made sure they answered all my questions. Best of all, there was absolutely NO PAIN in the procedure. I highly recommend this place. Great dentist and great staff all the way around. Thank you so much for making me feel at ease. The numbness has worn off and absolutely no pain after my extraction. I won't even need to take Tylenol. :)

I have been going to Dr. Lawson for years and I am extremely satisfied with the care I receive there. The doctor is very caring and sensitive to my anxiety issues.
