Another really positive experience. A new toothache developed late in the week, and lo and behold, an appt was available on a Friday afternoon. Dr Shirvani found an issue that she corrected on the spot, but the pain continued in an adjacent tooth. So further exploration, more work, and I left far more comfortable. I appreciated Dr Shirvani’s thoroughness, and also Tia’s warm and expert assistance to both Dr Shirvani and to me. And gratitude to Nicki, the scheduling and insurance guru, for encouraging me to get seen before a weekend that might have been quite painful!

My experience with Doctor Shirvani and everyone in this office is consistently 5⭐️. I always look forward to my visits. No matter if it’s for a simple cleaning or a crown, I know that I’m being cared for at the highest level. Everyone is professional—kind, helpful and considerate. I always look forward to my visits. As a older person it's good to see how dental procedures have become more modern with better results. When I got my bridge I envisioned the antiques I have seen in people's mouths from the past modern bridges are much better.

Great experience as always. Terry remembered I was going to NY in June and I asked they put notes in the chart but she said, she just remembers. The staff are very friendly and competent, Dr. Shirvani gentle and thorough. Have been going to this office for decades (started with Diana Murakami who sold her practice to Leyli Shirvani) and I'll probably continue until I die. Edit: Found this draft from my last visit but discovered I hadn't posted it. Was just there this morning for another cleaning with Shannon which was an excellent experience as usual. I wanted to add that Dr. Shirvani is an excellent communicator, explains things well, has good judgement. Found the cause of a new pain in a right lower molar (adjacent implant's crown had loosened and resultant bite changed stressed the painful tooth) and fixed it immediately as well as prescribed a high fluoride toothpaste to treat my gum recession and exposed roots. She's very accessible, giving patients her cell phone number for problems which I try not to abuse.

Dr. Shirvani completed a multi-year dental process which first began with Dr Murakami. Because of my health issues I had to postpone any serious dental work for more than a year. Of course this meant multiple dental procedures - cavities, veneers and implants but throughout the experience I was impressed by the professionalism and thoroughness all staff and especially Dr. Shirvani provided! I can smile ear to ear again!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Shirvani since she’s been in San Francisco. My wife and son also see her. Dr. Shirvani is always very clear in her communication and does excellent work. She’s honest with her recommendations and will take the time to explain things and answer questions. We like her staff and would definitely recommend her as a dentist

I first met Leyli when she was president of her UCSF graduate dental school class where she went to level up to US dentistry after five years as a dentist in Teheran. I had been going to the graduate dental clinic for over a decade—a different dentist from a different country, all good, a fascinating experience. Leyli I found to be such a genuine and gentle person who worked well with her professors, was obviously like by her assistants, and her work was so good—she put in a difficult and complicated bridgework—that when she graduated, I left the dental clinic and followed her first to Oakland, where she practiced and managed a dental clinic. Then she bought an established and venerable dental practice a block from Union Square in a venerable medical building, likely the best medical building in San Francisco. She is as she was, even better now because she has connected with other dental professionals in the building, such as a dental lab which greatly decreases the time to get or repair a crown. Leyli will make it right. You can’t go wrong with her.

Unfortunately I had to go to the dentist as an emergency during my several week stay in the Bay Area. The team around Dr. Shirvani was so kind and made the emergency as bearable as possible for me. Dr. Shirvani is a very competent dentist and knows what she is doing. I can judge this very well, since my sister in Switzerland also works in this area. Many thanks to Dr. Shirvani and her team! Dr. Shirvani and her team are great. I had a crown come off and my regular dentist is in SoCal. They were able to fit me in as a new patient the same day, which is almost unheard of. The doctor took the time to explain the procedure without being impatient with all of my questions. Her and her team made me as comfortable as possible and I’m very happy with the results so far. I can’t recommend Dr. Shirvani enough. The whole office has wonderful energy.

I came to see Dr. Shirvani for an emergency dental issue while in San Francisco for business. I was extremely lucky to have found her and that they were able to see me with just a couple hours notice. I was taking a red eye flight that night back to NYC and was in dire need of a dentist. Dr.Shirvani and her staff were lovely, professional and very knowledgeable of what to do with my cracked molar. She kindly followed up via text to see how I was doing the next day - on a Saturday. If I didn’t live 3000 miles away, I would use her all the time. I highly recommend her and her dental practice.

Wow, my experience with Dr Shirvani was off the charts. My regular dentist, whose office was closed for the extended holiday weekend, referred me to Dr Shirvani for some emergency dental care. Dr Shirvani just didn’t do a few minor prep things and wait for my regular dentist to finish the dental work. She completed it all on my visit and did an incredible job. She and her staff are the best!! Also, check out all of the cool art work on the walls of the office!
