Dr. An is amazing! Very friendly and genuinely cares for each of her clients. I’m so glad I chose to go to her for my dental work. Her office welcomes everyone with open arms.

Dr. An has been our family dentist for 30+ years. We feel very safe and satisfied with her care. Dr Angela An was so patient and gentle, she explained all the details with me and the plan to fix my teeth :) I also loved how I was able to hold a mirror to see my teeth when Dr An went through them for a full check, it totally eased my nerves and I was more involved in looking after my own dental health. After my first visit I am very looking forward to my next visit and don’t feel anxious at all.

Dr. Angela An is hands down one of the best dentists I’ve ever had. She has amazing bedside manner, never pushed anything, and is very compassionate. Definitely recommend her clinic to anyone who is dentist shopping. Just had a tooth extraction + bone graft and the price was fair. Dr. An has checked on me twice since I left the hospital yesterday morning so she definitely cares about her patients. Her dental assistant/office manager Xiaomara is also super nice and helpful. The clinic culture created by these two are awesome!

Dr. An was highly detailed in her explanations and attentive to making me feel comfortable. She was meticulous with the cleaning, pointing out important information about features of my teeth, and explaining cause/effects of brushing methods. Her staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. If I had kids, I’d feel comfortable taking them to her.

Dr. Angela An is very professional and will discuss everything with her patients. She does so in a manner that anyone can understand. She is also very kind-mannered making the dentist visits less of a chore than it is with other clinics. Xiomara also is very easy to work with and she will help you work around your availability. I don’t like going to doctors and dentists but after my first visit, I am very happy to say that I have found a dentist I wouldn't mind visiting as often as I can.

She was the best dentist ever but early 2021 when she got replaced by her husband but Dr. Angela was the best

I had such an amazing experience at Bella Smile. Dr. Angela An is attentive and professional. She goes the extra mile to take care of her patients. She also speaks Mandarin fluently and can take care of Chinese speaking patients!

Dr. Angela An was so great! As an educator, I appreciated her showing me and teaching me things about proper dental maintenance. With most of my dentist experiences, the dentist only comes in to look at Xrays and just check to see if my teeth are alright. Dr. Angela An is HANDS ON. She did my cleaning and had me hold up a mirror so she could explain things as she went along. I walked out with my teeth feeling good and more knowledge about dental care.

Dr. An is a great dentist and takes an extra step to make sure you are comfortable! I only have good things to say about her and her workplace. Dr. An is very understanding and so easy to talk to and she is great at educating me about what is going on with my teeth. She is considerate, caring, and gentle and gives really good advice on how I should best keep my teeth healthy and strong. She is definitely my favorite dentist I’ve had and I don’t ever dread having to come in to have my teeth cleaned!

I came across Dr. An’s office while searching for a second opinion on my tooth. I had seen another dentist in SF and couldn’t believe how much it would cost for the procedure. She was nice, friendly, and professional. She explained my options and was transparent about the pros and cons. Two years later, I am still here! I’ve seen her consistently over the years for general dental work, crown replacement, Invisalign (she’s a one stop shop!). Her and her staff are a pleasure to work with and have been ways been accommodating with my busy work schedule. Not only is she great at what she does, but she genuinely cares about your well being and educates you on dental hygiene. Thank you Dr. An and staff for always making me feel welcomed!

Dr. An is such a great dentist! Especially when you know you have deferred maintenance. I hadn’t been to a dentist in quite some time and knew that I would have some work to get done. Dr. An has a very caring, gentle and educational approach in her practice. She talks to you about absolutely everything going on with your teeth and even gives you a mirror to take a look with her. She will give you some great tips and tricks to keep your smile healthy! Dr. An even checked in with me after a procedure to make sure I was feeling okay and to give me more aftercare information. If you want a dentist who will truly cares for you and the health of you teeth, Dr. An is the dentist for you!

I loved it. The process is great, she handed me a mirror so i can follow along with her! WOW! She educated me on how to brush those hard to reach spots correctly. I have been to many places throughout my life and I have to say I love the service. What are you waiting for? Give her a try.

I moved to CA last year and when my roommate found out that I was needing a dentist, she literally refused to let me even look into other dentists. She was so impressed by Dr. An that she basically gave me no otther choice. After my first visit, I completely understand why. Dr. An is so impossible nice, professional, and thorough. Not only that, she enjoys educating you along the way if you like. As a high school teacher myself, I loved this and had never come across such a dentist/educator before. Man, does she know her craft AND how to explain it. I have been twice now and can easily say, at age 37, I have never had a dentist this good. She makes all of my previous dentists (also very good) look like amateurs that herd their patients through. I cannot recommend her enough.

To find a dentist that is skilled in the practice, up to date on technologies and techniques, highly delicate in the administration of care, and clear in communicating pros and cons of different treatment options... is a real blessing. Dr. Angela An meets this definition to a tee; I recommend her highly to anyone seeking this type of care.

Dr. An is awesome! She and June do an amazing job at providing outstanding service. My husband and I moved to San Mateo in 2018 and since we were both working and commuting, we were looking at Saturday dentist appointments. When I called Dr. An's office in San Mateo, June was able to squeeze us in on the next Saturday Dr. An was taking patients. I did my Invisalign treatment with Dr. An, which went very smoothly. She was incredibly accommodating with my appointments for my regular check ups. I was working in San Francisco and commuting from San Mateo, and I was impressed how understanding and flexible Dr. An was with scheduling. She is very caring and attentive, and it never feels like she is rushing. She educates me and my husband during our appointments, explaining what she does and why she does it, and answering all questions we have. Every time I see Dr. An and June, it feels more like spending time with friends and talking about oral health than "being at the dentist". I would recommend Dr. An's services to everyone!
