Great and professional experience with Dr.Hobie!

Are frustrated with dentists that only offer you the most expensive option? How about the dentist that takes your insurance, but then refuses to complete those services unless you agree to a treatment plan that includes those expensive options? Well, you won't have that problem here! I bring my 75 year old mother to this office because we know they will provide us with a variety of options to fit our budget. She has dental insurance. However, very few offices in Santa Maria accept this dental HMO plan and the few that do, have continually been a disappointment. We get her routine exams completed by the insured dentist. But when it comes to whether a tooth can be saved or not, dentures, and other complex work, we choose to go to Santa Barbara Family Dentistry and pay cash for the services. The dentists and dental assistants listen to our concerns and strive to work with us to find a satisfactory solution. The front office staff understand my work schedule means I have limited availability to bring my mom into the office but they always find an appointment time and day that works for us!

Terrible service!!!!!! Avoid this place! My mother had an appt scheduled at 10am. She was put under general anesthesia for a dental procedure and was left unattended till 12pm. When the dentist got to her he apologized for breaking her tooth and not being able to finalize the procedure. My mom had to go to a different dentist the following day. Servicio terrible. No vayan a este lugar! Mi mamá tuvo cita a las 10am y no la atendieron asta las 12pm. Y le quebraron su diente. Ella tuvo ke ir a otro dentista a que le ayudaran arreglar su diente

Dr. Gomez is amazing. The whole dentist office is awesome! I didn’t feel a thing. I finally found the perfect dentist.

Just don't go there. The finance lady is charging three times the amount of a small town dentistry. The office itself is much like a human cattle shoot, get as many people in, and charge em. I'm giving them 5 stars only because top stars are what people usually read first

This office is great. I love it because of the way I feel so welcome like it’s family. I always appreciate the way they know my name when I walk in at the front desk with Rosa and Denise and of course I love the appointments scheduling with Elizabeth and of course my dentist Dr. Gomez is off the charts great.

Everyone here is friendly and very attentive to you. Dental procedures are efficient and the doctors and assistants are awesome.

Needed a tooth extraction and bone graft. I have a fear of dentists because normally they have a hard time numbing me. The doctor here was wonderful. I didn't feel a thing. I am recovering well without needing pain meds. I highly recommend this place.
