I have been going to this practice for years. Fantastic Dentist, Dr. Al Nortan, and Staff. Though some of the office staff and other professionals in the practice have changed overtime, which is to be expected in our current business environment, as a whole it has always been consistent, efficient, kind, and friendly. And they have had special empathy for me. One who has extreme anxiety with dentistry. They perform their work calmly, never rush me, or chastise me for making their work more difficult. More importantly, I have NEVER had a significant issue with the dentist or the staff's work on my teeth. Thank you!

They did a bait and switch they told me one price and switched it during the appointment… be careful. I’m new to Georgia I really had a hard time getting good referrals the receptionist told me one thing when I arrived the young lady in the front quoted another price ,I felt rushed it was such a bad experience from beginning to end. This business overall was clean but the people were terrible 😞

I found this office on the Best of Gwinnett website. It was a pleasant experience from scheduling to arriving at the office. They don't offer sedation so I had to take my daughter somewhere else, but they gave us a referral and were patient and kind.

Dr. Norton and the staff are AMAZING ! I found them while surfing the internet for a new dentist after a bad experience with another local office. I truly appreciate their dedication and willingness to assist their patients in a timely and friendly manner. I have been going to Dr. Al Norton (Dentistry at Sugarloaf) for many years and I truly could not ask for a better dentist in fact, he’s the best I’ve ever had (as far as I can remember) in my 49 years of life! Dr. Norton and his team make you feel as comfortable as you possibly can while at the dentist, whether getting your teeth cleaned, getting a filling, or having a root canal. In all the years at this office, I have no complaints and only compliments. It is clear to me that Dr. Norton truly cares about his patients, and he takes much pride in his work. Also, Dr. Norton’s dental hygienists and office staff are genuinely kind, thorough, and helpful…they all truly make a wonderful team, no doubt! So on that note, many thanks to Dr. Norton and his entire team for many years of exceptional and quality dental service. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I highly recommend Dr. Norton to anyone who is looking for a quality, compassionate, trustworthy, and dependable dentist.

On 11/19, I visited Duluth Dental Center, and the experience was horrible. They tried to oversold things and overcharged me. After that experience, I left without any dental work. On 11/20, I went to Dentistry at Sugarloaf, and I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and excellent care. They did not overcharge or try to sell me things. Deceiving practices. Called for an exam for a toothache was told there would be consultation fee. Was referred to another Dr. only to have to pay another consultation fee. If your practice is going to “refer” a patient and have to pay another exam fee, why even do the initial Exam? Very dissatisfied-I am sure this isn’t your first time ripping people off. Never use you again.

First I will say Dr. Norton is a phenomenal Dentist. He is gentle and caring. HOWEVER: his front office staff is HORRIBLE! You are the first thing people encounter when they call for an appointment. Being rude should be the last thing you would wantbto do. But everytime I have called there, ever since one of the girls doesn't like me, I have had a problem. I will not say don't go to Dr. Norton because HE is Amazing! But if you have a problem with his staff, let him know. This way, it will hopefully be addressed.
