This place is great! The were able to get me on the same day. The staff was very friendly from the second. I’m very happy I found this place. Would highly recommend!

I had my first cleaning today at Diamond Head, and I'm really pleased. I was greeted when I walked in the door! I signed papers but it wasn’t too much like other places. I was seen right away. Clean office and friendly staff. The Hygienist Chantel is gentle and thorough, and she was great and was very thorough in her work, she made me comfortable. Dr. Matto listened to my concerns very well. Amber the assistant was really nice and listened to my concerns as well. The staff were friendly and knew what they were doing. Their facility was super clean. And there also opened on the weekend. I would recommend this location and office.

Dr.Jackson did an outstanding job on my filling today I did not feel anything at all with the numbing definitely eased my anxiety, thank you also to Amber the DA as well for making me feel so welcomed and safe in the office you guys are the best !!!!!

Dr Johnson is a legend. He took my wisdom teeth out in 45 mins with no pain! Definitely coming back again.

I don’t know how this place is so highly rated. I was informed I had two cavities and to get them filled with my delta dental insurance would be over $500 for two cavity fillings. They wanted me to do it that day. I didn’t have a good feeling about it, I didn’t trust them. I didn’t get the cavities filled and I didn’t return to this dentist office. Fast forward 8 months and I go to a different dentist and they tell me I have no cavities. What a scam by Diamond Head Dental!! Also during my visit I was told by the dentist “You’re doing to lose all the teeth you don’t floss.” If you want to trust your dentist and not get scammed and not be talked rudely to- don’t go here! Do NOT recommend this office. Was told I had two cavities and I didn’t!!

It was a very good experience. Everyone was efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. I was very pleased with the results 🙂

When the Dentist came in Dr. C. Riter, he was informed about my concerns and listened to me. He took his time to examine my mouth and put so much care into everything. I appreciate that he took the time to educate me and give me options and explain thoroughly what I had questions on. After all the dentist I’ve seen he believes in me that I will trust the process. I feel like he put in the effort, unlike other Doctors ive seen. Once again he explained every possible way to get my smile right! Thank you to all ! The diamond Dental team is the best! Definitely appreciate the members that gave me an awesome and amazing first time experience! I felt the care and nurture ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’m excited for this journey to having a better smile inside and out

I have been going to Diamond Head Deantal for about 8 years now. I’m sure working on teeth and fixing problems isn’t a 100% success rate operation. I don’t expect perfect outcomes every time nor do I get them. That’s how it goes sometimes. What I do expect is professionalism, kindness and compassion from the employees. Although this last crown experience was a roller coaster ride, I did leave very satisfied. Dr. Jackson and Jess were the main people assisting me and both made me feel like a valued customer and a top priority. I left a very frustrating situation happy multiple times because of these two. They are both rockstars and I will definitely be back because of them. I have and will continue to recommend them to friends and family. Thank you for making me a happy customer!!

I was on the way to Oahu and had a crown come off while on the plane! Called at noon and they were able to get me in at 2. Everyone from the front office staff, the back office, to the dentist himself- all amazing! So friendly, so accommodating. They were very clear and transparent about everything and was able to get me in and out so fast. Truly grateful for their service!

The only thing this place has going for it is the hospitality of its employees. Other than that this place is a straight up mess. I had been quoted 6k (this is with insurance covering 2k per year) to take care of my dental issues, i had a list of at least 6 things majorly wrong and i had only 2 things done. A cavity which was fixed with ease and a root canal with crown. Both of these things have now totaled me over 2.6k thats with them having used my 2k of coverage for the full year. The root canal took over 4 hours and i had to go back because i could still feel pain in the root. They than had me come back for another 3 hour long procedure to remove the remaining root. Fine not a big deal roots are complicated. I then was told to wait 3 weeks for a crown as they had to request it from some place in the US and not locally. On my way to get the crown installed they contacted me 15mins before my appointment to tell me there was no crown and that i had to wait another week for it to arrive. I finally go in to get my crown and was told it was a 30min procedure, it took 2 hours and the crown didn't fit. They then told me I was to wait another 2 weeks as they sourced another crown from a local specialist. I finally get my crown and think thats the end of it. Only to receive an invoice from them telling me I owed them money. Of course they send that email after hours so you have to contact them the next day. I contact the number provided and they tell me that they're not the ones that can assist with billing inquires, but theyll pass along a message to have someone reach out to me. Half the day goes by and no answer, I give up and call them hoping to straighten everything out and am told that the people work from home and that they'll leave another inquiry for my billing. At this point I'm just upset as I was informed that my copay was gonna be 2k for the procedure, only for them to say that my insurance won't cover $258.88, this sounds like some shady practices. Got an after work appt 2-days prior. Staff are very polite, professional and accommodating. Dr. was busy yet he took the time to explain what he could see in the X-rays and the options for my dental situation.

The office was very clean and well organized. I was a bit nervous when I first got back to the chair for my cleaning, Rob did an amazing job making me feel comfortable and well informed about my dental hygiene—He took his time cleaning my teeth and did not rush, I’ll definitely be coming back for my next routine cleaning !

I visited Diamond Head Dental Care while on vacation in Waikiki and they were incredibly helpful. They accommodated me on the same day within 30 minutes of calling and were extremely helpful with my needs. From the receptionist, to the assistant to the dentist - I was treated with kindness and felt valued. Thank you so much!
