Dr. Yasuhara was irresponsible and unethical in coercing my 93 year old mother to have a non emergency procedure like cleaning her teeth during this critical time when the elderly are vulnerable to contracting covid19. Apparently he and my sister who is a nurse at Kaisers decided to have the appointment irregardless because they felt this pandemic is just news propaganda and people are over reacting. I told the doctor I was concerned that if my mother contracted the disease in your office and died you would just say she was going to die anyway. He didn't feel he would be accountable. I understand his practice is going through a difficult time but I assume he has lots of patients that are at least under 80 to keep him in business. I have filed a complaint with Department of consumer protection and better business bureau. I had hoped all our health care providers are looking out for our safety but these two consider me as they call it a "covidiot".

Dr. Yasuhara and his wonderful staff literally SAVED my Hawaii vacation. While I was eating a sandwich just before heading to the Atlanta airport to board my flight to Honolulu, the veneer on my front tooth came off. I called his office and explained my situation. I was given an appointment for the next day and Dr. Yasuhara re-cemented the veneer back on and restored my smile. His work was stellar. The cost was very fair too. He is a Gold Standard Dentist. Thank you so much!

When I moved to Honolulu 1 1/2 yrs ago, I had to search out new basics, like a bank, doctor, veterinarian and … a dentist. My daughter recommended her dentist, Dr. Yasuhara. So I gave him a try. I was impressed with how peaceful and serene his offices are, and the view is spectacular (well, it makes sitting in the dentist chair quite pleasant). The staff couldn't be nicer and immediately made me feel at home. Luckily, I had only simple procedures done (diagnostic/cleaning), and I was quite pleased with the work. And, yes, Dr. Yasuhara is now our family's dentist.
