Highly Recommend Kona Coast Dental Care. I am not a very good dental patient and they went above and beyond and making my experience very good. I rarely leave a dental office with a smile on my face but they made it happen.

I booked online for a cleaning and it was great. The dental hygienist was very thorough, gentle and quick. Thank you!

The hygienist was very kind and very thorough and he did my cleaning even though I was late. Great job. I never even saw the dentist though. Nice enough staff. Took me quickly. My insurance covered everything except tax which I’ve never heard of before but it was $12 so I paid it even though that seemed odd.

Was able to make a same day appt for a dental emergency and they got me in and I was so anxious because I know I have issues with my teety but the staff was wonderful and Dr. Bays was great. Highly recommend!

I had a dental emergency and was in alot of pain. They were so kind and were able to see me the day I called. I was really anxious for the procedure, but the dentist and his team were amazing and really calmed my nerves through the process. Very professional. If i could give more stars, I would.

The staff here is professional and courteous. Dr. Sullivan takes the time to listen.

Everyone but the older lady at the reception desk was amazing. She needs to be retrained in customer service or get a different job because it’s obvious she hates her job. I watched how she treated the Kapuna before me and she was rushing her rather than being kind and being respectful. The Kapuna was asking reasonable questions on how she should sign her papers and questions about her appointment but the receptionist was being snappy and it seemed like she didn’t want to deal with the customer. I almost wanted to turn around and leave because of the receptionist. Then when it came to me being checked in she was very impatient and I felt a lot of anxiety due to her attitude/behavior. When I finally got in to have my appointment everyone was nice and had a sense of humor and I enjoyed myself. After that I had to check out with that receptionist again and she treated me the same way she treated the Kapuna I mentioned earlier. I almost want to give this place 3 stars because of her but I can’t do that to the other staff because they were nice.

It's a bright and sunny office..always good music playing..It's clean, great location above the bowling alley with lots of free parking. Christine is my dental hygienist and she is great! She's highly experienced and friendly and does a thorough job of cleaning. She always has some good advice and will ask questions to make you feel comfortable. The office staff is usually efficient and helpful. I was greeted with a smile as soon as I entered, even tho' the receptionist was on the phone. They are great with mobile reminders and scheduling! The are very busy and are booked far in advance.

I needed a new dentist but had a hard time finding one that was accepting new patients. Things got worse when I had a dental emergency, and needed a crown quick. Kona Coast Dental was able to get me in, and took care of my crown. As a pleasant surprise, the cost was reasonable compared to mainland prices. The staff is kind and considerate, and the experience was relatively pleasant (for dental work).

The office staff was friendly. Dr. Sheppard was AMAZING! She took time to listen to my dental concerns and quickly fixed what was needed. She even followed up the next day to check on me!! Thanks for a great experience.

Amazing staff, very informative. I feel like ohana on my first visit. Time was taken to explain everything while procedures were being done. Most of all, my questions were answered & my concerns were addressed. Letting me know that I was valued as a patient. That means so much to someone who is fearful of going to the dentist.
