I've been to quite a few dentists over the years (I'm not that young anymore)... Dr. Harada and the whole team there are the best. The staff is great to work with, always friendly. Dr. Harada does excellent work and is very detailed. I just had an appointment today and my teeth are sparkly clean. I was self-conscious before with my coffee and tea stains, but now I feel confident when I smile :)

I am writing this review because of Heather's unprofessional and rude behavior. I called your office at 3:32 p.m on October 25, 2022, to reschedule a cleaning appointment scheduled at 5:00 p.m. that day. Heather informed me that I needed to pay a late cancelation penalty fee of $50. I agreed and politely asked her if I still needed to pay the late cancellation if I had a valid reason for canceling. I told her I was not feeling well. I have a sore throat and head congestion. Heather's response was dismissive and unprofessional. Her tone was condescending and rude. Heather replied, "If you know you are sick, you should have called us right away and not wait until an hour before your scheduled appointment." Heather is not wrong. I should have extended the courtesy of calling your office when I felt sick, as Heather rudely suggested, but it didn't occur until later that day. However, Heather should learn how to extend compassion and politeness toward the clients she speaks with on the phone and in person. I went to work earlier that day feeling under the weather, but because it is harder and more work for me to draft sub plans for my class and look for a substitute teacher to cover it, I went to work anyway. It wasn't until the end of the day that I remembered my cleaning appointment at your office. Heather's response would have made a lot of difference. Heather could have extended basic human decency and empathy, used a professional tone of voice, and chose to de-escalate an irate and already sick client by apologizing; I would not have been writing this letter of complaint. I am a relatively new client to your office and have only been a client for less than six months. I must say that I had good experiences with everyone in your office, from the dentist to Sandie to the front desk and the cashier. They were all warm and professional. I am kindly asking for this situation with Heather to be addressed. Heather needs to be trained again on how to build a better rappor

I chipped my front tooth quite a bit on a Friday night. The piece flew right out of my mouth and I've never had this happen, and I was so upset. I asked around and was given some great dental referrals. I began calling early Monday morning. Aiea Pearl City Dental was able to give me a reasonable quote AND an appointment the very next day. Originally, I was looking to see Dr Marc. However he isn't taking new patients. They offered me an appt. with Dr Aaron Harada. I was nervous because he's youngish. Well. From the moment I walked in it was very professional and personal. The waiting room is clean and they have a streamlined check in system. The front desk staff and receptionist, well, you feel like a very special person and they are like that with every person! Like they love their jobs! My dental assistant was so kind and reassuring. Dr Harada gave me some options after looking at my x-rays, and then the billing gal gave me financial info on the spot. I went with the simplest option, like a patch job, if you will....It looks better than before I chipped it. Honest to God! I was really prepared for the worst and I got the BEST. I'm impressed with this office and everyone in it and Dr Aaron did a fantastic job. 5 stars!

Always find the hygienists thorough, gentle & knowledgeable. Dr. Blake is always open to answering any questions I have, which I greatly appreciate. The only suggestion I have is to have the dental care suggestions written down, as I’m at the age that I forget.

I have known Mark for 39 years I would not have gone to anybody else. I would only trust and Mark two pull two teeth two root canal‘s and one filling in one day. I am dreadfully afraid of the injections to numb my my mouth but he does it with a special technique where I didn’t feel it at all! I didn’t feel anything when he injected me. And surprising me I didn’t feel much pain or discomfort throughout the entire procedure maybe 15 seconds because of our persistent resistant root That didn’t want to come out. But that’s all! Mark is amazing and I had another procedure done by his colleague about two years ago and I felt no discomfort Then as well. He is truly the best! I have renewed appreciation for the job that he hast to do. It’s not easy but he is the dentist extraordinaire. God bless you and your family abundantly!

I've been going to Aiea Pearl City Dental Care for follow up visit and it seems I didn't have any problem at all. The staff are very accomodating and welcoming. My hygienist is always doing a thorough/superb job. My dentist is fast in doing his job simply because he already knows what to do (Expert).

Staff are always friendly, caring & attentive to your needs. I’ve been a client for over a decade because of how I feel they care about my oral health.
