I drive from Ankeny to Ames to go here because Dr. Amie is the best of the best. So are Heather and Kari and the rest of the staff. These have gone above and beyond for me multiple times. One time Dr. Amie and Kari came in after hours when I had an emergency, and another time Kari dropped off supplies at my home when I was having dental pain. I recently had a few veneers replaced and the first set didn’t look quite right and they simply ordered a new set for me at no additional charge. The new veneers look amazing and incredibly natural. They’ve also been working closely with me to make sure my new retainers fit just right. They do a fantastic job and if something isn’t quite right, they take care of it.

Anna was my hygienist and she did an amazing job. She made me feel comfortable and at ease, which was great because I have serious dentist anxiety. She got my teeth feeling so clean, but didn't cause any mouth pain in doing so. I came to this dentist after going to Aspen Dental for a couple years, and wow — what night and day difference in service quality! I highly recommend this dentist. If they’re not in your insurance network don’t let that limit you. They’re not in mine either, but I still end up paying about the same as I did at Aspen Dental (who is in my network) but am getting much better quality service for my buck. Update April 11 2022: They’re still amazing. My teeth are in fantastic shape and as a surprising bonus my hands feel better than they ever have before

Avoid at all cost! She is one of those dentist who will prescribe you unnecessary treatment and rip you off e.g. fluoride toothpaste, unnecessary filling etc. While working on filling my teeth she bore a hole so deep that I almost needed a root canal. I am not sure how her rating is 5. Many of these could be paid reviews or she get her staff do them.
