Primary Health Care - BEC Dental

I had insurance and went to them, they made us pay out of pocket before they would schedule my appointment to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Then after they pulled my wisdom teeth out they tried saying that I owed them more. They started sending me bill's, eventually they sent me a letter saying they were going to send it to collections, I also got a letter from my insurance saying they paid for the procedures. I went to the office and flipped out on them telling them I already paid and they said I didn't so I showed them my bank statements. I told them I was going to sue them because they charged me and my Insurance and now they are harassing me. They said they had to call someone, they kept calling multiple people. They gave up. if I could give 0 stars I would. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I called to make a future appointment and I was told to call back in a month because "October is full". I stated that I was calling for an appointment in November but she insisted to call back in November and hang up. But wouldn't November be full if I call in November? After reading the reviews here, I am not surprised

I can’t even get hold of them through there phone number. You can only schedule appointments on Monday and not Monday till Friday

Llevo muchas semanas queriendo hacer una cita 😠 segun es solo los dias lunes 😩 y cuando llamas nadie contesta y si llamas ese dia nadie contesta ya como a medio dia te contestan solo para decirte que tienen todo lleno y que llames al siguiente lunes 🤬🤬🤬 en verdad tienen una forma de trabajar horrible 😣

After waiting a month with a throbbing toothe ache I was seen for about 15 mins and told I need a double root canal. And that it would take too long. They then referred me to a dentist in Cedar Rapids that won’t see me until march. Even with the referral. And they never answer the phone

The staff and dentists at this location are top notch I have never received anything but the best care I would recommend to anybody and everybody! And I have been going there for quite a long time

Great dentists, they have always been great to me and my children.

Today I took my mom to get tested for covid right next to their Primary Health care office on SE 14th. She’s been having some symptoms for a few days and her Dr recommended yesterday she’d get tested. We waited for about an HOUR in the heat only to get told at the end that they couldn’t test her because she is not employed and because she hasn’t been exposed to someone with the virus. They said they had to follow guidelines which I understand BUT they could have asked those questions in the beginning and told us she wasn’t going to get tested so that we didn’t wait an hour in 90 degrees weather. We went through TWO people before we got to the THIRD guy who was actually going to do the testing. Why didn’t those TWO people (who asked the exact same questions as him) let us know ahead of time. I called in work to get her tested today & it was such a HOT waste of time.

Front desk girls are very rude

I don't normally write reviews but, I came in on an emergency with no appointment. I was experiencing the most agonizing pain I've felt in my life (tooth pain) and had been turned away by 2 dentists because I didn't have an appointment. Coming into PHC, I met Dr. Garcia who, not only was the only dentist in the entire building that day (making her extremely busy I'm sure.), but got me right in and pulled my tooth anyways. I don't know if she'll ever read this, but I wanted to say thank you. You have no idea how much you helped me, I was going through hell with that tooth for 3 whole days until you took care of it. I'll be coming to you from now on (With an appointment this time.) for all my dental care.

The way to make appointments is terrible I have been trying for months to get in.

Only allows appointments to be made Monday mornings. If you call at 8:00 when they open, they will not answer the phone. If you call any later than 8:00, they will be full and tell you to call back the following Monday. Their phone system gives the following options, only: -Leave a message to cancel an appointment -Reach an extension if you know it -Use their directory if you know the person's first three letters of their name Notably absent is the ability to speak to a person, leave a message, or be put on hold. Needless to say, I did not actually visit this location, but it was not for a lack of trying. I can't speak to the quality of the dental care but appointments are impossible to make. Hopefully they will improve their appointment and phone system.

They have a horrible way to make appointments that answering service is always screewed up on mondays makes it hard to make appointments please change your policy Drs. Are great never had a bad experience with any of them

They don't have any tolerance on kids.

I've been trying to make an appointment since the last 2 weeks they've been telling me to call on Mondays at 8 am but I be never been transferred to speak to a staff so the service is horrible.

Front desks staffs are really unhelpful. If you been at office they suggest to call for appointment and if you call they put on hold for long time and they never take any appointment except Monday.

They always full. I called every day morning want to setting up an appointment , but they always do not have available time every day.
