The dentist did work on my teeth and wouldn’t see me back because of my insurance even though when I left there I was in so much pain. Ended up having to have a root canal done in Cedar Rapids. Will never go back.

They never call back and my daughters braces are constantly breaking

i was seen by dr lay, and he was the rudest professional i've ever dealt with...he raised his voice at me and told me to stop talking and that i was spitting on him....he asked me if i had partials and i said yes but that i could not wear them...he said he would get me new ones and he pulled five of my teeth that could have been saved, got me the new ones and I can't wear them either just like I told him I wouldn't be able too...so now I have no back teeth and can't really enjoy the foods I like....he needs to be put out of practice!!!

Garbage. This place is a joke. Dr Lay is the absolute worst. He yells at you, is rough and is incredibly rude.

The staff is all very nice here. They are all so gentle, I have no fear of going to the dentist anymore! I didn't feel the Novocaine shot at all, nor did I have any pain during the procedure. People, if you're looking for a new dentist, you'd be smart to go here!

This place is terrible. Been here twice and was lied to and then turned away both times. The dentist assistant is rude and the dentist himself tried to treat me like I was stupid. This place is a JOKE!

As a child I had a very bad dental experience, which developed “dental phobia” With just a few visits with Dr. Lay and his extremely polite, knowledgeable and professional staff my fear vanished. With their caring, kind, and compassionate approach, newest technology and Dr. Lay’s patience, they made me feel like I was their top priority and got me in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible. While working, Dr. Lay was explaining every step of his dental work and made sure that I did not feel any pain at all, even when he performed the extraction of my four teeth. I referred all my family members to visit Dr. Lay because he was able to do dental work that my previous dentist couldn’t. I am about 30 minutes away from the office, but wouldn't mind travel an hour to have this kind of dental service. Thank you Dr. Lay and the staff!

This is the worst dental experience I have ever had. Everything was very rushed, the dentist did not even use a sickle probe on me; I know this sounds petty, but I did not even get a free tooth brush. When I left this office my teeth still felt dirty. I called to complain (politely) and was told my teeth were 100% plaque free when I left. They were kind enough to not charge for the cleaning so I could get a 2nd opinion. I did get a 2nd opinion. They did find plaque on my teeth and were not surprised when I told them where I had been. I don't like to complain, but when I was told I was wrong about my cleaning I felt discredited and unvalued as a customer; I have been to a dentist plenty of times and never walked away feeling I had a dirty mouth. I hope this office takes this as a learning experience to take their time with each individual they treat, do a thorough job in the future, and to not discredit someone who is only looking for thorough service.

Nice and caring dentist. He explains everything to you. He takes his time.

I had a great experience here and I would recommend it to anyone! Dr. Lay is very easy to connect with and is very knowledgeable and good at what he does. 5 stars all the way.

love this place. really great knowledgeable staff. brought my son in with me and they gave me great preventative advice for my four year old son. I have a major fear of needles and they catered to that which was great. definitely going to continue to go to them for any future dental work. thanks

I found this office in my insurance network and its nearby so I tried them out. I had the exam and cleaning done but I had one cavity so I had them do it so I wouldn't have to come back. I didn't even feel the shot!! I had never been to the dentist before where I didn't feel the shot. I'm really happy with my experience here.

Very clean office that is very inviting and comfortable, while the staff is great and easy to talk with. All in all it makes going to the dentist livable😎👍

Wouldn't go there no matter how bad I needed a dentist. This place is a joke.

Although the outside of the building looks small, the inside is surprisingly spacious and brand new. The staff is very friendly and inviting and I would definitely recommend the place to someone else.
