Westside Dental Group

Upon visiting Westside Dental for a crown and filling on July 22, 2021, I was treated rudely and maliciously by several members of the staff, to include the dentist himself, his assistant, and the receptionist who handled my finances and post-op treatment. I came for a crown and a filling that quickly turned into a prospected root canal. I was proscribed a root canal despite never having any pain or visible damage to my tooth (even by way of X-ray as the dentist himself admitted!). In the process of his botched work, the dentist sawed my tooth down to a nub, the discomfort of which I can still feel to this day (5 months later). During the process, he failed to properly anesthetize me so I felt an inordinate amount of the painful administering of the procedure. Once he abruptly left the procedure claiming that I needed to get my root canal done elsewhere (even though the WSD website claims to perform root canals), I was mishandled by his assistant. She rudely and tersely shuffled me out of the operating room responding to all of my inquiries abruptly and dismissively. Furthermore, she failed to administer an adequate amount of oxygen to help restore me to a clear mind state after the anesthesia had left me lightheaded. When I closed things out with the receptionist upfront, she also handled all of my questions abruptly, rudely and dismissively. I could say that I got the strong sensation that I was just another number to be processed and pushed out, but that would be an understatement. The treatment felt intentional, punitive and malicious. As an over 10 year customer of Westside Dental I was shocked and appalled as it took me by utter surprise.  I have since found a much more conscientious dentist who handles her work with much more care and professionalism. But I'm still now forced into a position where I only have half the tooth I once had and may need to get a root canal after all—one that Westside Dental induced!

This is an exceptional Dentist, Staff, and Location. A very relaxing atmosphere. Everything is explained in a clear and expert manner.

Love this place so so much! They are always willing to answer any questions and always make sure they tell you what is going on before they do something. I have 0 complaints about this place

I have never waited more than one minute in the reception area. I have been a patient here for years; it is run like a well oiled machine. Dr. Rouhana is both a doctor and an artist. He has made improvements to my teeth over the years that have increased my oral health and increased the aesthetic beauty of my smile. Never underestimate the power of a gorgeous smile!
