I brought my grandson in to have 3 fillings done with Dr Drew. My grandson had a great experience! Jillian was super sweet and explained everything that was going to happen before hand. He got to watch SpongeBob on tv during the procedure. We are so happy with this office and the staff from Lauren up front to the treatment coordinator , Cheryl! My family and I have been loyal patients of GLD for many years but after my wife’s recent experience our family will be seeking dental care elsewhere. My wife recently received fillings on two teeth and she’s had nothing but issues with the fillings since. She went back twice only to be told it was an issue with her bite and that she needed to have her teeth filed down to take pressure off her bite on new fillings. She ended up going to another dentist and found out she needed a root canal and she may need to get a root canal on both teeth that received fillings now. The fillings occurred right before a family vacation and caused my wife to have tooth pain throughout the whole vacation. She sent an email to the office expressing her disappointment but never received a reply back hence this review.

Love Great Lakes Dental. My Dentist Sarah De'Swann is awesome she goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable and in no pain and makes sure no rough spots left after filling a tooth and the staff is so friendly and outgoing when I have my teeth cleaned they also make sure you're no pain and they bend over backwards to do the best they can for you they are awesome caring like family and close friends. I switched to Great Lakes Dental Care so I could have a dentist closer to my home. I do not regret my decision. Everyone is so friendly. While I am sure all the dentists there are great, Dr. Sarah is amazing. I am the type of person who once I find someone I'm comfortable with, I stick with them. I will definitely be sticking with her. She always takes the time to make sure I'm comfortable and not in any pain during whatever procedure she is doing and always thoroughly explains what she is doing.

If you’re looking for a new dentist, you may want to look elsewhere. As a new patient, the dentist took 0 time to understand my patient history and even asked me if I wanted to be numbed for a cavity filling. He then seemed frustrated the numbing process was taking longer than necessary. Going to the dentist is never fun, but having a caring/compassionate dentist matters.

Horrible customer service! I tried to reschedule an appointment and couldn't. They would rather cancel an entire 2K plus treatment plan then accommodate. Very rude people on the phones. I would never recommend this place to anyone I care about, especially a busy person. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else for your dental needs.

I switched to Great Lakes Dental six months ago and they have performed miracles! My teeth were a mess and I had been really depressed about them. They did an extensive evaluation and wrote up a game plan I could understand and follow. They have payment plans for patients like me with no insurance, and offer a medical credit card with no intetest for a year. Not only are the staff all friendly, but they have years of experience and several said they're treated with respect, have fun at work, and really like their coworkers. To me that says a lot. The dentists are like artists, have a ton of patience, and always make sure I'm comfortable. They really listen and give concise, detailed advice, even when I don't want to hear it. Lol. They do implants as well. It has a generous and relaxing reception area with a TV and magazines. But don't get too comfy because you won't have to wait long. It's well run and there are multiple dentists, hygienists, and assistants. They will text or email appt. reminders and can get you in pretty quickly. I'm so forgetful so that really helps. A++ to Great Lakes Dental Care!
