Dr. Susan Maples, DDS

I recently had a routine surgery, unrelated to my mouth, not with Dr. Susan or anyone in the office. The surgery went fabulously except for where they were too rough and popped off my temporary crown and deeply scraped part of my mandibular torus during intubation. Here is where Dr. Susan comes in. I visited her a week later to get my permanent crown on and also have her look at the spot that had been injured. I didn't even have to tell her what I thought had happened; she knew exactly what it was. She gave me an incredible topical gel, but it was too late. Fast-forward one week and I was back in her office, IMMENSELY thankful they could squeeze me in. Dr. Susan and Tori got to work, relieving the infection from my mouth and prescribing a strong antibiotic to combat the rest. The feeling of complete trust and support they give when working with patients is unlike many medical offices. I have grown accustom to questioning myself and wondering if the pain I feel is really as bad as it seems. Everyone in the Total Health Dentistry office believed me though. I didn't need to second-guess what I was feeling. They believed me, reassured me, took steps to heal me, and Dr. Susan offered continued support in ways I was not expecting. The women here are true gems of the world, and I am forever grateful to have them on my health team.

Dr. Susan Maples is the finest skilled dentist I have ever had! The staff is superior. That office runs like a well oiled machine. Dr. Maples work is to perfection. My teeth have never been healthier or nicer looking. I have 4 implants, 11 crowns and 6 veneers, lots of dental work. I've had many dental challenges and since in her care in 1994, my teeth are so much better. She is honest, direct and understanding. She and her staff stay abreast of the newest technologies and techniques. They offer stress reducing therapies to assure your comfort. She pays attention to detail and she isn't happy until you're happy. I highly recommend her and her staff, you will have the best dental experience ever. I am grateful to be in her care.

I was definitely impressed with the knowledge, expertise and plans for my teeth. I was a bit overwhelmed with the pre exam and conversation. I think it was enlightening but there are things I still need to think about. What I’ve decided is that I’d like to take one step at a time. The most important issue is my receding gum line and go from there. When I see my doctor I’ll discuss the sleep apnea and see if my insurance will cover this. I really appreciate all of the input I received from both you and Jean Voss. Thank you so much and I’ll see you at my next appt.

Pleasant staff who are very kind and professional!

I prepare for bed and wonder how much worse it was for my grandparents and great grandparents; the ones I have pictures of before WWII. Surely, much worse. But the pain I have had these last two months with temporary crowns and no numbing, well, I’d like not to think of it. The memory is almost as bad as the experience.

I've been going to this dentist for all of my dental care since I was a little boy. I'd argue that this is the friendliest staff you'd ever get to work with. Dr. Susan is brilliant in her work and she is wonderful to speak with. The whole staff is very accommodating and they do anything they can to make your visit comfortable and an experience to look forward to.
