Love love the office I had a “permanent” crown fall off ( from a different dentist) and was leaving for vacation the next day … called the office explained what happened and they got me in within a 1/2 of my call… even tho I had never been to the office… you guys rock and saved my vacation 😃 you now have a new patient and I couldn’t be happier.. thank you again

This is a great family dentistry place. We drive from the next town over and it's totally worth it. They're friendly, timely, efficient, and thorough.

Dr. Schell is such an amazing dentist! He’s attentive and kind, and he is sure to make sure you’re comfortable during procedures. Interaction with him is always pleasant. Bonnie is a fantastic hygienist as well.

Love this office. Everyone is very friendly! They have all the items to help you stay calm if needed. Dr. Pfiefer has been repairing my teeth for close to ten years now. I've had three implants done from not going to the dentist for years. They don't pressure you into getting anything done, they help get a plan in place, and having heard other horror stories with implants, I can say without a doubt, I would not go anywhere else!!

After another bad experience with Hudsonville Dental at my appointment today, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for your dental care. They are very forward with their self advertising saying that they take such good care of their patients, but from my experience, that quality care only exists in their claims. After a couple of sub par experiences, I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and see if it got better, but it hasn't. Here are a few of my last few experiences: 1) Appointments suddenly cancelled: After a previous appointment, I scheduled my next 6 month cleaning appointment. That normally helps to be on the schedule, since they are currently scheduling out quite a ways. I got about two weeks away from my appointment and got a text message saying that they had cancelled my appointment and that I would need to call to reschedule. When I called, they said the next apointment that they had available was out several months. Again, it was THEM that cancelled my appointment. Not me.... 2) Sub par patient care: I inquired about teeth whitening through Hudsonville Dental, and payed for an easy take home method that they highly recommended. The only thing that they needed to do at the office was take impressions so that they could make trays. Whoever they had take impressions didn't seem to know what they were doing and had several unsuccessful attempts at getting good impressions and I left the office covered in impression mold material. 3) Before appointments, they send out a message saying that you can save time by filling out forms online before your appointment. I have now done this a couple of times, simply to show up at the office for the appointment and have them tell me I need to fill out the same forms again. 4) Performing work not covered by insurance: At my appointment today, they took x-rays without asking or saying anything. When I was checking out at the desk at the end of my appointment, they informed me that I

Very friendly staff and they explained every thing what they were gonna do and took the time to show me the X-ray and explained that as well about the cavity my daughter had and how deep it was so they needed to put a cap on it thank you for taking care of her!!

Quickly cleaned my teeth. Hygienist was on time. Friendly, pleasant staff.

My hygienists are always the best. The doctors are always thoughtful and caring. Probably should let them know you’re getting a temp hygienist. She was friendly but didn’t know how to operate many things. So I was confused until the end.

I was charged $79 an “extra cleaning” procedure that was never explained to me and never took place. I was given the same cleaning I’ve had for 40 years. They then argued with me on the phone for 15 minutes about how removing the charge would be “fraudulent” until i threatens to have my family never come back. Then magically they were able to remove it. Scam.

I avoided going to the dentist for a long time. I was afraid of being judged, and I had a really bad dentist experience as a child. At Hudsonville Dental, I found none of those things. They have been very understanding of my particular situation. My dentist, Zach, along with the staff, are very supportive and comforting.

I left a dentist office that I was a patient for over 50 years only because of insurance changes . I came to Hudsonville Dental and had a great experience and feel really good about my choice . No waiting , friendly staff and I am very satisfied .

As a long time patient I couldn’t be happier with the treatment from this office. The staff is super friendly and super knowledgeable. Thanks for all that you do.

Get a second opinion if they say you need a crown. While waiting for my appt I witnessed two people check-in/out for crowns which seemed a little coincidental. I then went in and the dental hygienist took one look at my teeth and said I needed a crown. The dentist then came in and after hearing her observations recommended I schedule to get a crown immediately. I had just had x-rays at my previous dentist with no mention so I made an appt with another dentist who reassured me there was no need for a crown. Yes there was some damage to the tooth, but it has lots of life left, and getting a crown prematurely is not advisable. They also had sweepstakes for people who left them 5 star reviews so I would take their review score with a grain of salt.

I was initially disappointed by the fact my original appointment was canceled. Despite claims voice-mail was left, I could not find any missed calls or voice-mail. When talking with the office staff I expressed my discontent, and they apologized for what had happened and said they eould get me in as quickly as possible. They were able to get me in 5 days later. In a world where customer service is increasingly poor, I appreciated the effort and the ability to deliver on making it right. Every business will make mistakes, the great ones correct them the best they can, I appreciate Hudsonville Dental for that and the great friendly dental care they provide as well.
