This was my first dentist appt in YEARS! Lawson Dental was the perfect place for me to go. The staff was VERY friendly and nice. My dental hygenist was wonderful. She had quite the job cut out for her due to my absence from the dentist chair! She was competent, patient and explained what she was doing. Dr Lawson is great too!!! Very kind, gentle and thorough. If you have a life outside going to the dentist, this practice is not for you. I scheduled appointments for my whole family with only a week in advance, odd, I thought, for having that many openings for new patient appointments, but I took them. My whole family came down with the flu, so I had to call in the day before appointments and reschedule. I kept my kids' appointments and brought them in. I was still not feeling the best, but didn't want to cancel their appointments, as they were feeling better. When I arrived, they informed me that they could not see our family because of too many last minute cancellations and rescheduling. I told them, again, that our family had the flu, and I obviously would not want to come in and get their office sick. They still said they would not be able to see our family and I left with my kids. I found them to be very unprofessional and rude. If they had a problem after any of the cancellations, they should have told me then, instead of waiting for me to bring in my 4 and 2-year-olds only to find out we wouldn't be seen.
