You never hear people raving about going to the dentist but staff here have eliminated any dread of going to the dentist I've ever had. The staff is friendly, compassionate and made sure I was educated on what they were doing, what I needed to do for maintenance and answered all my questions. Dr. Pat, Dr. Jan and Dr. Baker are wonderful at what they do. I'll never need to look for another dentist again.

I am not from Cape and here temporarily. I wanted to set up a simple exam, clean and polish. I got X-Rays at my normal dentist about 7 months ago. I have great teeth and no issues or cavities. They been like that for 40 years because I take care of myself. Nothing has changed since my last apt. When I went in to make an apt yesterday, the woman at the desk who was not friendly at all tried pushing hundreds of dollars of services on me and told me I could not get my teeth cleaned unless I abide. So I casually said thank you and said I would go elsewhere. I did and got an apt at another dentist. The other office told me that was nonsense and that I could opt out of X-Rays even being a new patient. I guess I should have told her she needed a gym being she was extremely overweight. But... Honesty gets you in trouble these days.

. My granddaughter fell and hit her mouth on a table causing her top front 4 teeth to be pushed up all the way up into her gums. She had not been to the Ruopps before, my daughter had not either. But when I called the Ruopps and told them what had happened, they said bring her right in. We rushed her in, they took her in before other patients. They were all so nice, calmed her fears and xrayed her mouth. They assured us she would be fine, they called an oral surgeon who also took her right in to check her out, they said the same thing, she would be fine. And she was fine, her teeth grew out normally, and her adult teeth were not damaged. I have been seeing the Ruopps for 12 years, we are so thankful for Ruopp Family Dentistry.

They staff truely enjoy the jobs and it shows in how they treat their patients. They care enough to do a great job as well as get to know you as a person. It's definitely a family ran business who as well care about their staff.

I went in for a gummy smile. Also left with a gummy smile. They recommended 14 trays of invisalign. First set I told them they didn't fit, didn't believe me. Started my 3rd tray and had to go back to the office again. Since the trays were flapping they finally believed me and had to wait 6 weeks for a whole new set and start over. (Fast forward) I finished my treatment and my gums have not changed in the least. I asked what they offer as far as refunds because now I'm forced to seek more treatment. Dr. Jan said "we don't your teeth are straighter" Yes that is slightly true but that wasn't the issue you told me you were capable of fixing. Giving a super low rating bc they just want your money, they don't care about anything else. I should have been told in the beginning that they were unable to fix my concern and saved lots of time and money. Now im back to square 1. I feel completely ripped off. Where is the honesty!?

We have been going to Ruopp's Family dentistry for a few years now. My girls are never nervous or anxious about going because of their friendly staff. I would always recommend Ruopp's to anyone seeking a dentist. Thank you so much!

This is the best place for dental work. Everyone is very polite, courteous and friendly. Well organized and short wait times. But most importantly, the dentists are very experienced and well trained to take care of any dental problem you might have and do it right the first time! I would never go anywhere else.

I have been a patient here since moving to Cape in 93. Dr. Jan and Dr. Pat have been amazing. The staff is always friendly and professional. I have never liked the dentist but they are so wonderful. They are now the dentists for my whole family.

My wife and I both served in the military in the dental career field for 20+ years. After retiring we needed to find private dental care, Ruopp Family Dentistry have been a perfect fit for our family. Their customer service is the best I’ve ever experienced, everyone from the person checking us in to the dentist, including the hygienist and assistants always call you by your first name, they are always friendly and timely. Very friendly nurses and staff. Office is kept clean and their equipment isn't lagging behind. I have had to tell the doctors to wear a face mask once in a while when peering in, they seem to forget on occasion.

I saw Dr. Pat Ruopp today (5.1.17) as a recommendation from a friend. I recently visited another dentist on 4.24.17 who left me with a botched extraction, a new found fear of dentist and by far the worse dental experience ever. Once I saw Dr. Pat, I immediately knew I was in great hands. He was very kind, attentive and just an all around genuine person. He tried his hardest to numb the area in question but it just wouldn't work. I was afraid he'd just continue like the other dentist, but he quickly stopped and got me into the hands of an Oral Surgeon, I'm so grateful for the staff here at this office. I appreciated the fact that he genuinely apologized for any pain I felt (I was in tears from the pain). I never got an actual genuine apology from the 1st dentist so that meant alot to me. I'd recommend Dr. Ruopp to anyone.

Have been with roupp @ roupp since 2003. They are the best, I have been longtime customer for a reason. This dentist has never failed me. No reason to leave, they are great with kids.

First time patient at this dental office and I didn't have any issues. The staff was attentive and friendly along with Dr. Janet Ruopp being great as well. I'll definitely be going back here for my future dentistry needs!

This is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. (Granted I have been as often as I should) I went in yesterday for a deep cleaning and from the time I sat down Tracy was so polite and caring she numbed my mouth without me feeling a thing, then Hollie came and cleaned my teeth with such gentleness that I didn't even have any pain after the numbness wore off. They were so concerned about my welfare and state of mind through the entire process. I can truly say that I will not dread going to the dentist again as long as this place is in business, can't wait to go back and finish my cleaning.

I just got back from these guys, which just so happens to be very conveniently located by my place of employment. This was one of the least painful, efficient and comfortable dentist visits I've ever had in Cape Girardeau. I'm definitely going to be using these guys moving forward. The staff was very courteous and professional. The office is massive with a really good layout to facilitate easy entry, checkout and departure. My hygienist was very conversational and explained everything clearly. Dr. Ruopp was extremely thorough and clear on what he was doing every step of the way. I recommend doing the paper work on the website before coming in if you're a first timer like myself; It really expedites the process.

By far the best dental office in town! Drs. Pat and Jan always go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at home during my appointment. I have never enjoyed the dentist, but I always look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend Ruopp & Ruopp to everyone!
