Northside Dental Clinic

This place actually makes me look forward to going to the dentist, and I am writing this one hour after having a tooth extraction! I have now had three different types of procedures here. The staff makes you feel like they really care about your needs. They listen to you and make you feel like you're part of a family. This is my new dental home for Springfield. I love them!

Yesterday I had my teeth cleaned by Paige. She did a wonderful job and went above and beyond to assist me even taking extra time to make sure everything was up to par. She was kind and caring while. She made sure I was well informed and I felt comfortable and worry free the whole time. Thank you Paige! I appreciate your help.

If I could give zero stars I would. The receptionist shamed me for my infrequent visits. Then once we got past that sorry about your pain but it will be 10 weeks before we can see you perhaps go to Dental ER. Thanks for the referral and the humiliation

Well I whent there to have my dentures work on and the ladys there end up making me a new set all of the staff is awesome they listen to you to see what you won't done they tell you Well think this should be done nope they listen to what you won't on July 6 I go to have mine pick up I give them 6 10 stars three thumbs up for there work thanks ladys your awesome

What a great place everyone so polite and gentle I've always been scared to go. See the dentist they treat you very well and make sure that you're very comfortable before they do any extraction I'm still very pleased with the place of shows and they on me with my mouth

Brady Hull and the girls that work with him are awesome the hole place seems to be a well-oiled machine

They have taken great care of me. From having all my teeth pulled and having dentures that are the best I have ever seen. Just a GREAT bunch of staff. Wonderful job you all. Keep up the hard work. Would recommend them to anyone.

I had another pleasant dental visit with Northside Dental Clinic, in May 2021. Since I moved to the North of Springfield MO, Northside Dental Clinic has been a excellent choice for 5+ years. Waiting room has 18+ comfortable chairs, restroom 10ft. away and always 1 to 2 receptionist on hand to check you in.

I have been a patient at Northside Dental for 15+ years. Even after moving an hour away nearly 10 years ago, they’re still my dentist. I love going in to see Paige, my hygienist. She’s a true professional and does a thorough job. I say being there is the equivalent of going to the spa for me, knowing I’ll leave with a fresh and clean mouth! Also, prior to having any work done, they always have a breakdown of expected costs(and options) so that you’re never left with a big surprise. Keep up the good work Northside Dental!

On my first visit I was told I needed periodontal scaling because I had some "deep cusps" and had the beginning stages of periodontal disease. I decided to get a 2nd opinion because my previous dentists had always said I did a good job keeping my teeth clean. I had my radio-graphs that were taken at North Side Dental clinic sent to another office. I was then told that I had zero evidence of tartar build up on my teeth. They said scaling wouldn't be needed unless I had tartar build up in conjunction with deep cusps. The were going to charge me $922 for this procedure when I really didn't need it. I wouldn't trust them to give a honest diagnosis. 3/20/15 So, I have been to another dentist twice now and still have ZERO need for periodontal scaling!! My gums are still in great shape. 05/25/21 still no gum disease or need for scaling. What a scam. I'll never forget how unprofessional the dental hygienist was at this office.

Paige is my hygienist, she's always nice and accommodating to my needs. She always makes sure I'm comfortable and brings me a blanket when I'm cold during my service. Very nice, clean facility, and friendly staff.

Updating this now... 6 years after the first review. I have been going to Northside for around 8-10 years, with Dr. Kaelin for most of that. He is kind and keeps the mood light (which is nice since being at a dentist can be scary for some people). He has always provided quality dental care at an affordable price. His office bills insurance and gets quotes prior to providing care so you know how much fillings/etc will cost up front. The dental hygienists have all been very kind to me and I always feel better after a fresh cleaning! I highly recommend his office for anyone looking for dental care! I have always had a difficult time being consistent with my dental cleanings and checkups, until about two years ago when I made a same day appointment with Dr. Kaelin. He took care of an emergency situation quickly and gently while also being extremely kind and professional. Since then I have been seeing Dr. Alvarez and Tessa for my regular checkups and cleanings. Tessa has a quite, calm, and positive demeanor. She is non-judgemental and willing to help you find and encorporate the best daily dental practices for you. Dr. Alvarez is also incredibly kind. He seems conservative with his practices (he 'watches' potential problem areas before they become cavities, but doesn't push getting anything done until it absolutely needs it), which I genuinely appreciate. He is always willing to give me information and tips to keep my oral care top notch. Since starting my care here my oral health has improved considerably. I've finally found a dentist office that cares. They care not only about how my teeth/mouth is doing, they care about me as a person. So, in my humble opinion, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't give their office a try.

The staff are always friendly and professional. Normally I would dread going to the dentist, but I've been going here for about three years and actually enjoy going!

This had been my dental clinic for 6 years. Highly recommend. Nice, clean and friendly. Very professional and knowledgeable staff. Go check em out. Chatel is the best dental hygienist! Always on top of everything.
