I had an extremely painful tooth on the upper left side of my mouth. Obviously infected. Dr. Luderitz scheduled me for a root canal and gave me some antibiotics. The antibiotics helped and I was pain free for about two week's and then it flared back up, and with a vengence. Dr. Luderitz got me back in right away and with a dental drill and ten minutes quite literally had me as close to pain free as possible. I was so impressed I called the next day just to say how impressed I was. I wont ramble on but he is a super dentist, as well as a magician with those scary tools dentists use. I am still in awe at how he was able to get me out of a 8/10 pain scale with no anesthetic and a few minutes with a drill. He is definitely a pro and I would highly.recommend him and his staff. I might add that normally I need oral sedation for any kind of work I have done and needed nothing with dr. Luderitz.

My 4 children have seen Dr. Luderitz for years. He explains every step to make them comfortable. My son is 9, and he was there today. He had a filling done. Dr. Luderitz and his team were amazing! My son got scared at first but they were great and making this experience easy, and hardly any pain at all! Because of my severe anxiety in daily life, I avoided going to a dentist. I went to him with pain..we discussed my anxiety, and he came up with a plan. I made it through relaxed and I am loving my smile again!

Traveling from Chicago to Bozeman and was in extreme pain from a tooth my dentist had "fixed". Called Dr. L and he agreed to see me as I was passing through Billings. Extremely thorough in troubleshooting and finding the exact problem. Didn't even feel the shots. He fixed a major problem 2 dentists had not diagnosed. Excellent clinician. Highly recommended.

I found Dr. Luderitz because of his experience with TMJ, in 2010, when I had been seriously injured in a livestock crash. The office has always been very helpful and friendly. Dr. Luderitz is an artist. He is very careful to explain options and prices. My front teeth along with my smile line were replaced by beautiful crowns. I know that he carefully worked on the way the crowns were fitted with shaping the gum line. I have moved to Florida and have been very happy with the compliments I have received from other dentists at how beautiful the work looked, that was done on my teeth. I have happily recommend friends and family to Dr. Luderitz.

I am not happy to go to dentists like the rest of the population except Dr. Luderitz. I had months of pain, saw several dentists in the Billings area, all to no avail. Then after a specialist referred me to Dr. Luderitz he scientifically figured out the problem and fixed it. My problem did not show on X-ray but they do not always present that way. That is the same in medicine. He is a very pleasant professional, up to date on current practices, and accommodating to patient concerns. His staff is equally friendly and competent. I would not be hesitant to recommend him to everybody!

I have been a patient of Dr. James Luderitz for the past seven years. In addition to regular, routine,dental work, I have had two bridges from Dr. Luderitz.. Both fit perfectly, and I am quite satisfied with them. Dr. Luderitz has a capable and competent staff. His prices are reasonable. I particularly like his sense of humor, which has not always been evident of some of the other dentists I have visited over the years, In summary, I am completely satisfied with Dr. Luderitz. I recommend him to you, as I have to others in the past. .

I have gone to Dr. Luderitz since 2007 and found him to be an excellent dentist! He is a caring man with a wonderful office staff and there is always a pleasant atmosphere in the office. Not only is he an excellent dentist (he bonded a small chip on the corner of one of my front teeth - a task that several dentists had done, but it had never lasted long - and he did it so well that after about 5 years, it is still holding strong!), but his prices are reasonable compared to many dentists in the area. He has a good sense of humor and seems to take his time and enjoy talking to his patients. I would highly recommend him! (In response to the man who wrote in about his son being frightened by Dr. Luderitz, I sympathize with him. No one likes to see their child frightened. But I have found Dr. Luderitz to be quite fond of kids. In fact, he has donated time to treat children who were unable to afford going to the dentist. I learned many things while working for a different dentist for eight years. One is that people not only have different pain thresholds, but also have different levels of what it takes to numb up their mouths. Most people numb up easily, but a few are found, by trial and error unfortunately, to require quite a lot of numbing before it is sufficient to ease their pain. I hope you will mention that this is the case with your son, should he ever need to visit another dentist.)

My family and I, have been patients of Dr. Luderitz since 2012. He provides professional, affordable and honest care for all my dental needs. His staff are fabulous and the customer service is outstanding. I personally recommend his practice to anyone who is in need of an genuinely honest and caring dentist.

I would highly recommend Dr. Luderitz as a dentist. He was patient, kind, and thorough with both me and my children. I particularly appreciate his careful way with my boys. Both my children can get very nervous going to the dentist and Dr. Luderitz helps make them feel at ease.

I was so impressed with Dr. Luderitz and his staff. I went in for a cleaning originally, and eventually had my wisdom teeth pulled by him as well. He was very skilled and did a great job easing my anxiety. I would recommend Dr. Luderitz to anyone looking to have dental work done. He is a great guy and I love his staff. Our entire family will now be regular patients here!

Terrible Dentist. my son went in with what looked like a few cavities. his suggestion was to do filling and extraction. not knowing much, i agreed to it. we set up an appointment. the big day came and i prepped my son for extraction. explained him the process, showed him a few youtube clips. the doctor came in and gave him some numbing injections and started his procedures. My son went into a crying fit. He was in a lot of pain and he kept saying that hes in alot of pain. never seen him cry so much. I asked the doc what doing wrong with the procedure... his response was he didnt realize the seriousness of my sons cavities and apologized.then, during the procedure, he had to give my son 3 extra injections to numb his mouth. and after that my son was ok. But not after the 1st tooth was already extracted. All that pain and suffering... for what? why not put an 8 yr old under for a rough procedure like this? how can you not know that his cavities are serious when you have all the xrays??? worst dentists ever. As a father, i was helpless. for the 1st time in 8 yrs, i couldnt do anything when my son was crying out of pain. Would not recommend James Luderitz even to the worst enemy. NOW my son is super scared of dentists.
