My main concerns when choosing a dentist is their patience and compassion. I had recently had an experience with another dentist that left me feeling like I was just another number. Dr. Thompson and her staff were amazing! Professional and friendly from the moment I walked in the door. They took the time to understand my concerns and explained everything that they were doing. My search for a dentist is over. :) Thank you Dr. Thompson and Staff for making my experience less intimidating.

I had heard great things from friends and family about Thompson Family Dentistry prior to my appointment, and they did not disappoint! 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and professional dentist office!

Called early February and got and appointment booked for April. They offered to put me in their cancellation list. With that I was able to get and appointment a few days later. Very friendly and inviting staff. Patient with my questions. They were very thorough. The hygienist even switched the polishing substance when she found out the sandy one bothered me. Highly recommend.

This was easily the best experience I have ever had with a dentist. From the time I called to see if they were taking new patients all the way through to the follow-up contact after my appointment, everyone was helpful and lovely. I was most impressed, though, by the way they spoke to me, asking me questions and including me in the conversation about what was happening at each step along the way. In particular, I have had a life-long abnormality on one tooth, but it is just superficial. For once, a dentist asked me whether it bothered me first, rather than assuming that I *must* want a cosmetic procedure to fix it. This level of attention to the patient is what medicine should be about. I highly recommend Thompson Family Dentistry!

What a wonderful experience - the staff is so warm and caring - you can just tell everyone enjoys the work they do and wants to ensure each patient's needs are met. After 20+ years of avoiding the dentist like the plague, a dental emergency brought me to Dr. Thompson. Not only did she do an amazing job on my teeth, Dr. Thompson went above and beyond to understand my dental history and make me feel comfortable. Anyone who knows me knows what an incredible feat it is to hear I actually showed up for my appointment - AND- made it through the entire thing without Xanax or Nitrus or any other calming medication. There’s NO way I could’ve done this without Dr. Thompson’s genuine care and concern for my previous dental trauma and her commitment to change that experience going forward. She truly is a heroine in my life story! Thank you, Dr. Thompson!

Just had a new crown put in yesterday. Went just about as smooth as you could expect. (Fun would be a slight exaggeration, but they made it less agonizing than it could have been!) Dr Thompson and Angel made it very easy and pain free. Great job, thank you!😃👍👍

They are so great!! I was having trouble finding my insurance information because I didn't get a card and it's so difficult to find online and they looked it all up for me. I also wasn't originally scheduled for both an exam and a cleaning, but some time after my appointment opened up and they went ahead and scheduled me for both! It was a pleasant surprise and I was glad to be able to get it all done at the same time! When I got back to the cleaning, the hygienist was incredibly sweet and very helpful. She was gentle and made sure she knew all of my sensitivities and concerns before she got started. I've had bad experiences with hygienists being too rough in the past so I was really worried about that, but she was fantastic! The dentist then came in and addressed all of my concerns in depth, even ones I wasn't planning to talk about this time lol, and was also super pleasant! I absolutely love it here and for the first time ever, I'm actually looking forward to going back!! I never would have thought I'd be able to say that hahaha!

I really appreciate how caring and efficient everyone is at your office. I chipped a tooth and was able to get in the next Monday and within a half hour the tooth was filled and it is feeling great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Thanks again. Julie

Update, since Dr Shaub has left us the jury was out for the new staff including Dr Thompson. However, Dr Thompson has been amazing. I miss Dr Shaub but Dr Thompson has made the transition smooth. She is kind, helpful, gentle, friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Her hygienist was very comforting and friendly and even gave me a pair of earrings one day because she thought they looked like I would like them, how thoughtful! Dr Thompson even fixed a problem tooth for me even though it wasn’t what I was there for at that time. I think she goes above and beyond to take care of her patients! She even fixed a chip in my front tooth that I’d had for years that an older dentist tried to fix many years ago but made it worse. I’ve had no problems with it since and now I feel more confident with my smile. Original review: I would recommend Dr. Shaub to anyone for kids, or adults. He is kind, gentle and honest and always has a great smile. He cares enough about you to inquire about your family and I really appreciate that. The hygenists are friendly and thorough. Natalie, at the front desk is amazing as well. I love that this is a family business and they are willing to take the time to make sure you are comfortable and well cared for!

Friendly staff, makes going to the dentist "not a chore"

Dr. Lisa Thompson is the best dentist I've seen in my 37 years! She is so kind and personable and always willing to go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe (can you say dental anxiety?!)

Wanted to find a new dental practice that takes Covid protocols seriously and makes cleanliness a priority. I found the perfect spot; they have installed upgraded air filtration systems. In addition, the entire staff was warm and welcoming. The dental hygienist, Suzie, was wonderful as was Dr. Thompson, and the front desk staff was also terrific. I was given some tips to help with receding gums and sensitivity and Suzie used great care to avoid those sensitive areas. They're located in a convenient midtown location and they communicated before and after my appointment via texts and emails, with online forms that made everything a breeze. What else can I say? This is a great dental office!

Friendly, helpful staff with an excellent cleaning. There was no waiting and everything was explained clearly.
