I HAD TO MAKE 9 TRIPS TO THE NORTHWEST CLINIC BEFORE THEY DECIDED THAT THEY COULD NOT MAKE A SUITABLE DENTURE. DR. KEVIN LIN APOLOGIZED AND PROMISED A FULL REFUND IN 2-4 WEEKS WHICH IS NOW GOIING ON 5 WEEKS AND ALL THAT ROUAL THE OFFICE MANAGER CAN SAY IS THERE IS NOTHING HE CAN DO. NO HONOR IN THIS COMPANY AND THEIR WORK IS SHODDY. IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER CHOICE TRY THEM. THE NAME IS DECEIVING. THE ONLY THING GENTLE IS HOW THEY GET THE MONEY OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT. LOOKS LIKE SMALL CLAIMS COURT IF I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

Genuinely one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. Dr. Lin was amazing. He completed a painless implant post installation in less than an hour.......and I even got to pick my own music. The office managers are equally amazing. Both Dr. Lin and the office staff explained every detail to me along the way, including what to expect now and for future appointments. 100% recommend!

Thank you Dr. Lin for your encouraging words and the enthusiasm that you share for your dentistry. My dream is coming true to have an excellent smile once again. My experience here has only been positive with each individual I have encountered at this office. Dr Lin is honest and explains the procedure that is needed to get you to your desired outcome. He makes sure you are comfortable throughout the visit as well. You can’t even feel the shot to numb your gums at all. Not to mention, he is full of personality!!! If you are skeptical of dentists, then come to see Dr Lin!!! He will change your outlook on dentistry for good!!!

I came here after 2 years of not seeing anyone for my dental needs, I had what I thought was a rotten toothache and found out I had wisdom teeth growing in. The staff made sure to let me know my options and made me feel comfortable, and made an environment that typically has me quite fearful, a place of welcome; and I was able to efficiently get what I needed taken care of. Will be coming back and bringing my daughter here from now on :) truly a wonderful office, from check in to check out

Very great office. I’d felt sort of swindled by some competing dentist offices in the area, so I was a bit hesitant about where to go next. Then when I met the staff here, I realized I found my forever dentists office. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist to the hygienists and ortho are such caring people. I’ve gotten fillings, cleanings, wisdom teeth removal (from their Sparks office), and am halfway through my braces treatment with them. I really feel like I’m on the way to having perfect dental health and have them to thank for guiding me along the way. Can’t recommend them enough. I’ve been a patient since ~March 2021 FWIW

Unfortunately the extremely poor experience was due to lack of/poor communication and poor customer service. LACK OF INFORMED CONSENT. I scheduled the appointment in person a few weeks beforehand. I verbalized the specific reason why I was scheduling my son for an exam and I was happy to see they had a "New Patient Exam Fee $50." 4 days before the scheduled appointment I received a phone call that they needed to reschedule to the following day. No big deal. However, during that phone call the receptionist exemplified poor scheduling communication, and disregarded what I verbalized to her- once again clarifying the purpose for the exam. I didn't discover her error until the damage was already done immediately following the dental appointment. Here is where the real issues took place: After completing the required paperwork, the dental assistant came to the lobby to get my son for his x- rays. She said, "I'm going to take his x- Rays and will be right back to get you. " After about 20min, I began to wonder why xrays would take so long, and was beginning to get a bit anxious. MIND YOU, THIS WAS MY SON'S FIRST DENTAL APPOINTMENT EVER. Long story short, they completed the entire exam, without coming to get me so that I could be in the room. Because they failed to get me, they performed an entire dental cleaning - APPLIED FLOURIDE - all against my knowledge and without my written or verbal consent. I was outraged. Following my apparent displeasure which I expressed in front of both receptionists and whom I believe managed the office, the proceeded to charge me for services that I did not wish to be done to my son. No apologies or offering to dismiss the extra and unexpected charges. Poor customer service and most importantly lack of informed consent. ***review edited to add-in a positive note, which is that the actual dentist seemed great and did fix my son's tooth. ***

Best dentist I have ever been too!, I have anxiety when it comes to dental work, but Dr. Kevin Lin and his staff are amazing!, they make me feel at ease and they are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, thank you Gentle Dental for helping me smile again without pain <3

I highly recommend this dental office. The staff is wonderful and caring, absolutely friendly and are serious about their patients mouth health. Dr. Kevin Lin is not only great at his job, but he is personal with his patients and genuinely wants the best for them, enforcing the ideal great teeth makes for a better quality of life. The care and help I have received from this establishment is unmatched by any provider, dentist or otherwise. I'm looking forward to scheduling my next cleaning in a few months! Yesterday I had the best dental experience in all the 76 years I’ve had in this (or any other) planet. The first indication that this was going to be a good experience was the way the dentist introduced himself, “I’m Kevin Lin.” One long been put off by medical professionals introducing themselves as “Dr. X” and addressing me by my first name. This is a carryover of my German mother’s attitude which has become mine. With this dentist’s introduction, I felt a sense of ease. This was followed by the gentle and proficient exam. I’ve had oral exams during which the depth of my gums are measured. This has been usually done by an assistant and is time consuming and uncomfortable. Dr. Lin (and yes I’m aware that I’m using his professional title) was did this extraordinarily quickly and painlessly. He also explained a dental issue that I hadn’t realized needed explanation. The depth of my gums, the depth relative to the teeth, now, in many cases, receives a score of 4 indicating that they have receded when the scores were 2s and 4s. I thought this was because of my failure to do outstanding hygiene despite my using a water pick and brushing twice a day. Dr. Lin said that the recession is age related, just as other bone issues one develops as the years accumulate. After the exam, I had my teeth cleaned by the hygienist, Adam. I’ve been fortunate to have had excellent gentle hygienists in the past. Adams was more gentle and efficient. The woman who did the X-rays before the exam, Tia, was welcoming and competent, also patient. It was an excellent beginning to the exam. Finally, the administrative staff made sure that the paperwork was correctly and completely done. This included checking what my dental insurance would cover, something good to know before rather than afterwards I don’t remember all of their names except for one: Raul was thorough in making sure that what needed to be done (by me) was correctly. There are so many good things to say about this team. Dr Kevin Lin was attentive and very thorough. He patiently answered my questions, which made me feel confident about proceeding with the root canal. Delme, medical assistant to Dr. Kim shaped a beautiful temporary crown for me. Maribelle, Raul and the entire staff clearly value the work they do, and that confidence can be felt. Thank you again Dr. Kim. It's has only been a couple of hours since the procedure and my discomfort is minimal.

English is a second language for my mom and they took advantage of her situation. SHAME ON YOU. She has insurance that covers every 6 months and they deliberately schedule her cleaning every 3 months without authorization and charges her over $200 for each visit for regular cleaning. When asked about how the charges are billed accurately, the front desk receptionist is very hostile and verbally gives her the run around with invalidated & unexplainable charges. I'm sure they do this if you have a slight accent. The dentist doesn't even see her for any of the cleanings or follow up. Fed up, I'm moving her to Dr. Platt who is my dentist in the same area. It's absolutely abhorrent to have dental offices with staff that simply view patients as walking dollar signs, over bill insurance for lack of service & without regards to ethics or integrity. AVOID!

Operator that don’t know how to handle situations and answer questions specially the lady who works 05/18/22 9:30am she is rude with attitude!

I don't even have the WORDS TO EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE RENO NORTH GENTLE DENTAL. Patti, Raul, and EVERY staff member treated me with so much care and tenderness. Most especially when it came to my teeth which are now popping and shinning more than ever! Much care Reno North!

Dr. Linn and the staff at Gentle Dental are great. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Most of us don’t enjoy going to the dentist but they make it as painless as possible.

I suffer from having a high gag reflex, which made visiting the dentist something I hated. I recently broke a tooth and dreaded the thought of getting a repair. Gentle Dental was very considerate and patient with me and my gag reflex, making the experience very nice. The staff is always very polite be it on the phone or in person, and have changed my thoughts on dental visits. Thank you Gentle Dental

I experience a reasonable amount of anxiety with the dentist. Dr. Lin managed that anxiety like a pro! Overall a very pleasant experience for what it was.
