Divine Dental of Santa Fe

Been going here since I was 12 years old! So 10 years and they just gave me a little B-day discount on the fluoride . The people at divine are great people. Dr. Valdez has been there for as long as I can remember. They are honestly one place I refuse to change because they do great work and honestly care about their client’s health! My boss asked me if I wanted to switch to a closer dentist. And realized I would rather stay here than getting a shorter drive !

Dentist Valdez really really helped me out old dentists put cheaper crowns but divine dental gave me what I really needed and works better with a different crown…very fair on pricing too !! Thank You Divine Dental !!!

Dr. Valdez at Divine Dental is the best. Not only is he skilled, he will do everything in his power to save your teeth and will even correct messed up stuff others have done before him. Thanks to him realigning old dental work, my face is straight again and my sinus issues have completely cleared up. The best part about Dr. Valdez and his team is I don't need anxiety meds to make it in as I have complete confidence in them. They are also highly considerate of any other health issues you may have and are very accommodating in all possible ways.

I think they are a good dentist office, they care about you and do a great job.

Great staff and experience.

Dr. Valdez is excellent at his profession. He corrected all the dental problems I've had for the past few years. I had been to two other dentists who were not able to resolve my pain. Dr. Valdez immediately assessed the damage and got right to work. The implant was painless and my mouth is perfectly aligned once again. The office staff is professional, welcoming, and genuinely happy to see you.

Great staff and Dr Valdez is the best.

I will never recommend this office. This rating should be a zero. Appointment was for a cleaning (new patient) and told would get a cleaning same day. Two hour wait, then bored, unfriendly, dental 'tech' took on hour to do analysis (xrays and look at gum line) and get dentist to review. Dentist said all looked good - for her to do cleaning. Tech back and forth for 20 minutes then came back and said had to recheck and proceeded to stab at gums and pry at a crown and an old filling. When I told her to stop as she was hurting me and dentist had already instructed her to do the cleaning she stated I would have to come back as I needed peridontal care, would require a deep cleaning as my gums were weak (she caused them to bleed) and she was willing at the time to help me set up extensive dental work based on my xrays (I asked to see and explain the xrays and I was denied). The tech also said she needed a new set of xrays right away (I declined as she had just done them within the hour). The xrays the dentist saw sitting in front of me did not show any problems. When the dentist came back over (at my insistence) he if she wanted me to come back later, he was okay with that (he had already done his exam and approved regular cleaning). Three and a half hours later and final discussion with and comment from the long-time office manager that how they do things, I walked out without any service and will not be back. I also informed my dental insurance and they stated they had other complaints before. Take your dental health care elsewhere!

My experience at this office exceeded my expectations. From the staff to the dentist they were all professional and polite and I will recommend everyone who needs dental work to try doctor Valdez.

Horrible customer service. They have always gave me bad service, one time I has to wait for two hours while thr Dr. VALDEZ flirted with his patients. Very unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. But I keep going cause they are one of two dentist in santa fe that accept Medicare. I called today cause I have a really bad tooth ache, today and called and make an appointment. The lady asked if my insurance was the same and I said yes I Hve Medicare. She said perfect and scheduled me on. At the end if the day some girl with an attitude calls me ans says they don't accept Medicare and they have to cancel me. Now I'm stuck in pain with no dentist appointment and now can't be seen till next week at a different office. Please save yourself the heartache and do not go here.

Divine Dental has taken such great care of me over the past couple of years & Im grateful for their care, kindness, and my future bright smile!

First of all, I must say that I have never been a huge fan of going to the dentist. Bad experiences since my childhood but I must say that I have been very impressed with Divine Dental. The entire staff is outstanding. Highly recommended!

These guys saved me after two years of horrible tooth pain. Two years ago I went to Comfort Dental and they gave me a filling that caused me so much pain I couldn't eat on the left side of my mouth. I went back to Comfort and got the filling redone, but nothing changed. Later that year I moved to Albuquerque and went to a dentist office there, only for the staff to shrug. They couldn't tell what was wrong. Eventually I moved back to Santa Fe and went to ANOTHER dentist. The dentist shaved down and fortified my filling...which once again, did nothing for my pain. At that point I'd been chewing exclusively on the right side of my mouth for nearly two years. I finally threw up my hands and decided to go outside my insurance network, hence my trip to Divine Dental. These guys were IMMEDIATELY able to pinpoint my problem when none of the other dentists could. They gave me a crown for my problem tooth and the pain has been on a steady decline ever since. A couple weeks ago I was able to chew on the left side of my mouth again with NO PAIN for the first time in two years. I really owe these guys so much. You can do a ton of damage to your teeth over time by only chewing on one side of your mouth, and that's not to mention the pain whenever I accidentally shifted some food over to my bad side. It's such a relief not to have to worry anymore. I hope they accept Presbyterian insurance someday so I can afford to see them outside of medical emergencies. Highly recommend their services to anyone.

'Estimates' are almost always way lower than the actual cost

I have been a patient at Devine Dental for several years now. Dr. Valdez and his team are the best I've ever had. After having several bad dental experiences, I came to Devine Dental not knowing what to expect and they exceeded my expectations. I recommend this dentist to everyone I know, they are friendly, compassionate and very accommodating if you need to get in right away. I can't ever imagine going anywhere else for my dental care. I actually enjoy going to dentist now and I never thought I'd say that.
