I was one of those guys who had gone over 20 years without a dental visit. I happened to discover Dr. Mercedes Del Valle by complete happenstance. I walked by her offices daily when I went to do laps on Skinner's Butte. I knew I needed to see a dentist badly, but also was reluctant because my teeth were now in such poor condition. One day, I didn't walk by... and just bit the bullet and went in. I was received with welcoming smiles. Instead of castigating me for my abysmal tooth health, Dr. Mercedes said "it's not as bad as it looks. We'll get you fixed up in no time". And she proceeded to do just that. Instead of an angry brick red, My gums are now watermelon pink, healthy with no sign of infection. I have no dental pain or issues now whatsoever. Here's something unheard of: having a fun time during a dental visit. The Doc and staff are genuinely wonderful people. There is music, joking and laughing, and general good spirits each time I visit. If you are like me, someone who had been putting this off for far too long, I'll recommend you take a leap and visit her. You won't be sorry. Your health and well being will be greatly improved.

Yesterday my bridge on my right lower side of the mouth surprisingly came off (this is an old bridge and not from Dr. Del Valle) and I called the clinic if I could get an appointment the next day and I did. Dr. del Valle fix it and did some more dental work on my mouth to prepare me for a new bridge to replace the old one. I was so happy that they were able to quickly accommodate me and fix my problem. I like Dr. del Valle and the staff as they are very approachable and treat their patients well.

The dental assistants, doctor, and other staff are all brilliant, friendly, and welcoming. I have had a cleaning and a filling done on separate occasions and will absolutely return when needed. Everything that was happening was well communicated and they seemed genuinely interested when I spoke and made sure I was comfortable no matter what. If you are nervous about getting numbing, this is the dentist to go to! I have anxiety with the numbing needle, but my experience here was like no other and I seriously did not feel a thing. I am used to having the side of my face feel numb after a filling but the technique here was a single tooth and it did numb past the tooth itself. Easily the best experience at a dentist I have ever had!
