I have been a patient here for years and the last year or so has been disappointing. I really like my dentist but the other staff has just went down in service. 1. The hygienist change your appointment without calling 2. The hygienist put her gloves on then was messing with her hair and proceeded with my cleaning 3. The hygienist ask me about a fluoride treatment. I ask was it a part of my insurance covered cleaning. She said yes its a part of regular care. Then after she proceeded to put this sticky mess on my teeth and all on my lips she said most insurance does not cover it. So she manipulated the extra $20 out of me then the doctor wrote a prescription for fluoride. I don't like being lied to and wasn't prepared to pay an additional $20. 4. When I got ready to check out the hygienist let the front desk know I was ready to check out. The front desk lady said it would be a minute. I am the patient standing there, you are to take care of the patient at the desk first. I said I need to leave now. I have been here a hour and a half for a cleaning. She then proceeded to check me out. If I had not spoke up she would have made me stand there and wait. I really like and respect Dr. Hennessy and don't want to leave but after yesterday I am considering changing. It seems over the last few years the attention and caring attitude has left the hygienist and front desk staff. The 2 Stars are only because I didn't want to not give zero and not acknowledge Dr. Hennessy's amazing skills and bedside manner. The missing stars are for the remaining staff.
