Advana Dental & Dentures

I scheduled an appointment to have a procedure done. I paid for the procedure in advance. When I visited the office I decided that I only wanted one of the procedures. The office kept the other half of my mone, saying they would apply it to another procedure that I decided to do which was a root canal with a cap. I scheduled the appointment for April 21st. The original payment was on a credit card. therefore, I am paying interest on the credit card while they hold my money. I received a call on March 27th asking me if I had the ½ payment for my root canal. I told her I would not have it for another few days. Therefore, she proceeded to tell m she was canceling my appointment that was scheduled 3 weeks later because I could not pay today. She advised me it was not fair that they would book a 3-hour appointment with the dentist if I couldn't pay today. She did not think it was unfair that I would have to pay interest on my credit card during that time although I had not even received a procedure. I told her you are already holding $300 of my money that I'm paying interest on. do you not see a problem with that? She advised me she could refund it but it would take me three weeks to get that money back. I told her that I actually was not very happy with that office as I walked in the staff looked grumpy and in bad mood. One of them was sitting on her phone. Overall I did not feel valued as a patient there. They were very interested in making sure that dentist got his money, “it's not fair the dentist would have a 3-hour appointment blocked for you if you can’t pay today”. Again, my appointment was scheduled out for April 21st 2023 and I received this phone call for payment on March 27th 2023. This clinic is not patient oriented. When I called to ask for my refund, the person who took my call was sarcastic when I told her I was getting a refund due to the way I was treated and she stated “oh yes ma'am, and you have a blessed day”. Wow, no professional!

Had a great visit they were amazing and understood I was nervous and helped me they that, had explained everything and made my first cleaning with them easy. I would definitely recommend them too others.

They doing a financial but when it the end off the year your bill won’t go down and the next year it still the same full amount my bill never go down and it goes up more then the amount that I should pay 🥶🥶🥶

Showed up for appointment. Advertizement stated they had A periodontist. When I got there found out they did not. But I needed my teeth cleaned and they were cheap enough because of an ad and I wouldn’t do it the face is very unprofessional your appearance. It feels dirty and low end. Between them not having a periodontist and it feeling getto I did not go out back.

I got 2 tooth extraction on my uper right they where mullers Dr. MULVAN did an amazing job I didn't feel a thing and it cost me 300 dollars this is amazing I love this place and Theresa did my tooth cleaning she did an amazing Job love her she is so sweet

We have had a great experience with the folks at Advana. The office manager was very clear in explaining every detail of our bill to us, the dental assistants are great for adjustments and the front desk receptionist is always kind and gets my husband an appointment quickly whenever needed.

Terrible appointment schedules. High ego and aren't willing to help

I absolutely loved this office. As someone who has previously worked in the Dental field, I can say this office was pretty amazing. Everyone including front desk, assistants, and the hygienist were super sweet, caring, and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. I had x-rays, a cleaning, and a few fillings done, and I do not have any complaints. Staff was friendly and everyone was professional. 10/10 recommend.

If I could rate a zero star- I would. I just wanted to go in for a teeth cleaning. I called a month ahead of time asked what they needed and they said I just needed to come in for a consultation first. Why not tell people exactly what they need from you?! I show up for a consultation…there’s nobody at the front desk and they take forever. After I go in, they tell me that I need to take a full mouth set of x-rays which is not covered by the insurance if you take full mouth x-rays within a year. They refused to accept the x-rays from my previous dental office. They made me waste an hour of my time just to try and get a teeth cleaning set up. Do not go here unless you want to waste your time.

If I could give negative stars I would. Office staff is highly unprofessional, they waited until 15 minutes before they were going to walk out the day before I was scheduled for a root canal to tell me they had to reschedule. My appointment was for a Wednesday, they knew on Monday the doctor was out with Covid! Then to make matters worse they signed me up for a credit card and charged over $1400 to it days before I even had work done! They don't tell you anything for post dental care either. Oh and the root canals were not needed apparently 🙄. They made one crown way to big too. Don't waste your time or money.

Made it so difficult to receive the services I paid for. Requiring multiple trips for EVERYTHING. Establish 1 trip, xrays 1 trip, cleaning 1 trip, removal 1 trip... oh new year? new xrays 1 trip and at least 1 more trip for fillings. It was so hard to try to find time that I gave up and lost all of the money that I paid out of pocket. I liked the Doctor, the hygienist, and the assistants I dealt with. The office staff and especially the scheduling people are a joke.

Got an appt very fast and the dentist was very nice and explained everything that needed done. Went back for an extraction, even though he got busy and I had to wait awhile to get the tooth pulled, he made sure that it was done correctly and didn’t hurry the process. I will be going back. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the price, it is really expensive when you don’t have dental insurance.

My mother has called many times trying to solve a bill she received. Insurance said it was paid however she never received a bill from the office and therefore it was sent to collections. The person in charge of billing has been very rude and very unprofessional. Saying things like "Can't you just pay your small portion." She claims her name is Abby, and we have heard her multiple times while in the office talking about other patients, saying things like "He's just mad he can't afford to pay his $$$ bill." All staff that worked on our teeth were absolutely wonderful. It is such a shame to see a business be ruined by 1 person. This 1 person made our whole experience very unpleasant.

If I could, I would rate this place a zero. I drove over an hr and a half for my appt that was scheduled for 1pm. I was not told to come early. I thought I was prepared seeing as to how I filled out the new patient paperwork online. I came to the facility after 12, however the doors were locked for their lunch. I decided to get a quick bite to eat nearby. I walked in to check in approx 3 to 4 minutes after 1pm. Front desk receptionist told me because I was late my appt was canceled and I would have to reschedule or can try and get seen today if someone did not come in for the appt. Im from out of town and cannot just wait around hoping someone doesnt show with the possibility of not being seen at all today. She proceeded to tell me they always ask everyone to come atleast 15 mins before the appt for new patient paperwork. I explained the door was closed for lunch and I filled out the paperwork online. She said the facility opens atleast 10mins or so early before 1pm and the online form does not work. Again, I drove from out of town. I basically did not have a choice and told her i would find some other dentist. By the time I sat in my car after speaking with her, it was 1:07 pm according to my car and phone clock. So I know I was near my scheduled time of 1pm. I have never been turned away for that short amount of time. I was fortunate enough to find a dentist that took me in as a walk-in for my extraction. The new dental office I found was very courteous and accommodating to me and my needs even with them being short staffed and busy. So I guess in short it was a blessing Advana turned me away. I will not refer nor go to Advana ever again.

Took great care of me during my wisdom removal but its been hard to get help/answers after. Says your office is open Saturday, called 5 times no answer. Left a message NO call back. I'm uncomfortable & need answers. Left side won't go down.

Hardly any waiting when scheduled appointments are set. Willing to answer all your questions. Great experience so far with my dentures. Edit: Everything was great until someone scheduled me for a cleaning I didn’t ask for. And I rescheduled that appt to fix my dentures but they still had me scheduled for cleaning. Then they were rude because they got called out for their mistake. DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST. The people must have changed at some point because the ones I dealt with last year weren’t this mistake prone. So I wasted thousands of dollars on Bad fitting dentures. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!!!!!

These people know what they are doing made me a upper plate perfectly fit friendly staff will definitely be back!!

Tooth pulled 5 days ago. Extraction went pain free (except for the shots) and quickly. 5 days later and still no pain. That's not normal. My first visit and definitely not the last.

if i could do half a star i would im in tears from pain .. i have no insurance and was told by staff member over phone it would be a free exam and xray..i drove waaay across town the lady took one look at me and decided its npw gonna cost me $74!..i told her i dnt have it i was told free and she was very rude and uncaring saying well idk who u could call but its $74 for exam..it hurts soooo bad.. idk what im gonna do...DO NOT GO TO ADVANA THEY DNT CARE ABOUT U UNLESS U HAVE MONEY ITS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT BUT HONESTLY I FELT RACIALLY PROFILED FOR FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE AND LOOKED AT BY FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST LIKE TRASH

Rude and way less than helpful people work here! Even other patients pointed out the rudeness I recieved. Glad I got out of there only spending $140.. Will caution any that ask me about this place.
