Not only was was the young lady who helped me very nice but kept me aware of everything we were doing! As a Marine Veteran and current teacher, I strongly discourage people from coming here. My complaint is about Dr. Yarborough's expertise. I went in for fillings and after the job was done I was in pain and couldn't eat from my right side. I went back for her to check on the fillings and she asked me to get an x-ray done from an endodontist. I go and get a second opinion from another dentist and I find out I need a root canal done because one of the fillings was done too close to the nerve. Here is where my complaint comes in. 1) If Dr. Yarborough noticed how bad the tooth decay was prior to performing the filling, why did she insist on performing the job? Why didn't she tell the patient "Hey, we need to do a root canal and not a filling?" She had the x-rays to assess herself. 2) She also wanted the patient to obtain an x-ray from an endodontist that cost about $400 (insurance does not pay) to assess how bad the damage was. Until I asked about the cost, Dr. Yarborough nor the front desk was planning on informing me. Additionally, not admitting to an inept job performance, they want the patient to pay for their mistakes. How is this just? I implore people to be cautious on where you decide to obtain dental care; it is your health on the line.
