Liz is amazing with office communication, planning and insurance for her patients. Dr. Muniz and all of his associates made my wisdom teeth removal seamless. From Anesthesia, surgery to my recovery was excellent. Recovery and pain management is the best. This is 72 hours later and my family and friends are amazed at my recovery progress. I'm very happy here. They have done so far everything I expected. I am very impressed. And I have a serious gum disease. If not corrected it can be deadly. If not already too late. So for me I'm very comfortable here. And I see this place that could save my life. My back is against the wall.

Dr Chahal is excellent, I really like her and trust her care. What I do not like is how mismanaged the administrative side of things are - most offices will call/text/voicemail day before your appointment as a reminder- not this office, and seeing other reviews listed, I realize am not the only one to have this experience. I received an email appointment confirmation TWO weeks before? Office staff are not involved, they utilize robot services and state there is no control over it as it's a third party corporate conglomerate that controls everything. Good luck getting another appointment - you will wait MONTHS Once again thank you for the automated canned google response- if problem solving was really important, a real human would have called me to resolve issues

WORST DENTAL CARE! We had Dr. Chahal do my crown and my husband’s dentures. Both services were poorly done! My crown looks like has some cement that is too white on top of the crown and make it look like I have food particles that is stuck on top of my tooth. Told Dr. Chahal about it and came back 2 times, she did some work but it still looks the same. She keeps on saying it’s not there anymore but I can tell there’s still more! Just a waste of time so I stopped coming back to get it fixed. She also did the impression of my husband’s dentures and had to do it twice. First she said it was lost in transit and had to do another one. When the dentures came, they were too big that they can’t be used (both upper and lower)! We kept on coming back 2-3 times for them to re-line and they keep on saying it’s good enough even we are saying it’s too loose. We eventually got tired coming back as it is such a waste of time and waste a lot of money! My crown was $2K, my husband’s dentures was $5K co-pay only to have poorly done services. Save your time and money, go somewhere else if you can!

We love Dr. Khan for my kid's dentist, and so far have been happy with Dr. Tanjaya as our orthodontist. However, I've been asking about issues with ortho billing for almost a year now, and have yet to get a resolution. Not to mention, it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of them on the phone. I have spent countless lunch breaks waiting on hold only to either be hung up on, or have to hang up myself to return to work. Will be consulting other orthodontists for my son's treatment due to the lack of administrative communication. Edit: I love that I spent 30 minutes on hold this morning only to be hung up on, but you have the time to reply to my google review the same day. Please, have someone answer the phone! SMH

They have ALWAYS taken great care of me and my family. I recommend them to anyone who needs dental work.

Worst place ever!!! They do not follow up when your cleaning is due. Most likely when you do come back they will upcharge you for gingivitis or periodontic cleaning. Had my daughters braces placed on here...they took 18mos to do a cleaning, and only because I asked. Then scheduled appt from 10-11, but between wait times, upselling, financing..we had to come back after their LUNCH so 1 .Another lady in the waiting room said she waited an hr from her appt time. Might as well take the whole day off from school and work.

Very friendly staff and excellent facilities

We were not happy with our most recent experience here. We arrived 15 minutes early for our pre scheduled appointment and were not called to the back for over an hour. Once in the back the Dr. asked my son to smile and said, without an examination, "you need braces". Then tried to get us to start the scheduling and financial planning. Very unprofessional, rushed, and cold. No one apologized for the wait. I took my son out of school early to make the appointment. Very disappointed. We have had positive experiences here before, but will never be back.

I had to look for a new dentist due to an insurance change. This place was like the “used card dealer” of dentistry. I couldn’t get a simple teeth cleaning. They wanted to sell you additional deep cleanings. Very unhappy with my experience. They are just trying to make a buck.

The most traumatic experience.. I had an 'emergency' appointment to have a broken tooth extracted. Due to a past traumatic experience I requested gas and was told the doctor doesn't use gas. I was also told it was going to be a very simple procedure. That particular morning, the weather was below freezing which had caused very low water pressure and some of the equipment to be unavailable, including suction. The doctor decided to go ahead and numb my mouth and attempted to remove my tooth instead of sending me to the Kingwood office. My tooth ended up breaking into multiple pieces.. she stopped and shoved gauze in my mouth and said "let's go to Kingwood". I struggled to even get an address from someone passing in the hallway with half my face numb. I made it to Kingwood and was told to wait a few minutes and I would be taken back.. instead I was called over to the desk where I was asked to provide my credit card info over the phone to the Atascocita office, I couldn't even speak with the numbness and mouth full of gauze....I made it to the back where the doctor proceeded to work on extracting the tooth. I have never been through anything close to that.. she was so extremely rough she busted my top lip and literally tore the corners of my mouth, forcing it open further than it was meant to open. With both hands still in my mouth she asked me if I was allergic to any medications and I nodded and tried to say the name of the drug. She repeated it back to me correctly and instructed the assistant to clean me up while she put in my prescriptions to the pharmacy. The assistant ended up turning me upside down in the chair trying to sit me back up.. She finally asked if she could just help me crawl out of the chair since she couldn't figure it out.. I finally made it out and back to my vehicle where I cried all the way back. I stopped by the pharmacy where I was then told I could not take the medication that had been called in due to my allergic reaction to this drug. My fa

Great dentist office, very attentive to concerns. It was refreshing when my dental assistant, Adriana, was thorough with polishing and flossing but didn't floss as though my gums were made out of tire rubber. 😅 I would recommend Atascocita Modern Dentistry to anyone who asked for a dentist in the Atascocita/Humble area!

Truly rip people off!!! I had 3 wisdom teeth pulled agreed to price and right before I was put to sleep they tried to jack the price up…. And Also pain is crazy insane so to even get a refill for pain meds they can’t help me because there oral surgeons are contacted!!!!

1. I was scheduled for 2 p.m. for one appointment. I arrived before my appointment time and wasn’t seen until 40 minutes later. 2. Scheduled a deep cleaning and filling for the same visit over the phone. I verified it multiple times with the girl who I spoke with that day. Arrived to my appointment a few days later and upon arrival was told only the filling was scheduled. Now have to wait over a week for a pretty urgent matter due to issues on the staff’s end. This office is always disorganized and does not value people’s time AT ALL. I experience a completely avoidable inconvenience every time I visit.

I suspect Insurance fraud here! Waiting on them to resolve charge’s for services that we did not receive.

This was a very painful experience having a wisdom tooth pulled 😫, Before this I had a bad experience with the temporary bridge being loaded with cement and put into my mouth by a inexperienced hygienist , not a good week.

I suffered from failing teeth. I hid my smile for years. Mentally it took a big toll on me. I was always embarrassed. I recently visited Atascocita modern dentistry schedule appointment with Dr. Esmeralda Chiang. She was very patient with me and suggested options that would give me hope. After she was finished with the procedure my smile looked amazing! Thank you doctor for returning my smile, and making my life a little brighter!
